After having a lunch (Wienerschnitzel) and seeing most of the historic core, we made a small break at Oberlaa Café . Traditional Vienna Coffee and Sacher Torte (cake) couldn't be missing!

more of Bratislava - to be shorter, there is a familiar nickname - Blava. Thus I name the pics with an affix "bla".
Even Blava isn't bad if you think about architecture, there are some factors that push that place really down. It is so small that you can see it in 1-2 hours, it is badly urbanistic solved and it is destroyed by thousands of paneláks...

Excellent pics.
I'll say this for the Russians, they like their memorials big.

Pezinok, Slovakia a small town about 100 km far North-East from Bratislava.
I think this might be very intersting for you, as it was even for me although I'm not from far away.
There is a different lifesytle and whole athmosphere, up in the great slovak hills...

Thanks.
Modrá, Slovakia A neighbouring town/village to Pezinok.
Modrá means Blue but the suffix -á determines it is in the female gender.
We bought some great wines there. And batteries to my bro's GameBoy. I can believe it. That is how a lot of the eastern European places are that I have visited.
