Beautiful job! I have to admit, I always loved the way the plane looked.

How about stripping out the turret and turning it into a second seat for a Radar Operator. Have the radar dome out on the wing. The four cannons firing forward should be more than enough to make it a killer night fighter.

Second option, dump the turret, seal over the rear fairing and fill that space, as much of it as possible back there, with fuel tanks. Make it a long range heavy fighter.

Just some thoughts that came to mind looking at the griffon on the front. Nice looking bird Clave.

    Thanks everyone!

This was a fun project for me - transplanting Spitfire parts, drawing the new nose, and fixing the guns, both old and new - and although it is pure fantasy, it moved things along for my real aircraft as I now have Brownings - both .303 and 0.5 drawn up ready for use in other projects.

This shows the Defiant and Super-Defiant turrents with the different guns:

    Thank you

I don't suppose anyone would be interested in the rest of the series?

I'll post up another thread with them if you like the idea - there's all kinds of crazy stuff - here's a taster:
