They just dig one out in the russian Archangelsk tundra - in an unbelieveable condition.#
It was just restored in an russian atomic submarine yard.
A less known fact is , thar the english soldiers after WW.I. end receive russian Mosin rifles and get embarked and landed at the Archangelsk area to help the czar to fought the communists - until I believe 1921.
It a very cold aerea and the scottish soldieres froze their asses off.
A lot of stuff lay arround there even today.
By the way US troops where landed in Wladiwostok out of the same reason.
The soldiers surely where satisfied.

Super stuff Glen some time ago I posted a picture of a small flier that my grand father got when he was in WW1 asking for volunteers to fight for the white Russians, he went to Archangel and spent sometime there.

I can see by the ventilation panels, that it's a Mark V, and what an amazing find! So glad they are doing a nice restoration job on it too..

Very nice drawing Clave - what do you think of a nice turning interior drawing with running engine and transmission and pistons popping up and down ...........
