Victorian Hot Rod Show 2009

For the 44th year the Victorian Hot Rod Show was held and once again in Melbourne at the Historic Exhibition Buildings. I attended again and took about 140 shots of the cars that caught my eye.

Very well attended from what I saw this year.

Started on the 23rd and finishes tomorrow on Australia Day.

Theres a few Aussie cars amongst the shots so if you're not sure what it is just let me know and I'll let you know

Also note the 6 cyl '57. Not a common sight these days.

Enjoy

Very nice, I used to be at all the shows within 100kms from me, but haven't been for some time. We have a few great ones up here and we're in the middle of show season now too.. Might have to check the calendar...

Sweet rides!

Kinda crazy seeing a right-hand-drive Falcon...

Very nice stuff Heinz. I use to work for Eddie's Rod Shop in Kingsport TN. We built a lot of frames. Model A's, 32s, 33s and 4s and so on.

Cheers guys.

Very cool Aaron

I really want to build a rat model A, failing that a nice Triumph Bonneville bobber would do nicely.

At the moment though I'm going to be playing with some Australian Muscle.

Here come some more...

Cheers.

The 56 Chev was there last year but I man I love that boot. Also the last shot is of a 1972 LJ Holden Torana with a non standard 6.3 V8 (383 stroker)

Cheers

Cheers guys

Jason theres some ford stuff coming and a little mopar.

Some more Aussie muscle with a HK Monaro running a crate engine which I'm guessing to be a 572ci.

Also a rather evil XY GT Pursuit.

Who can't love the VW Bug?

Cheers.
