Sorry Sys, but they could be from a number of places. The Beauforts could be from either Goodenough Island, Nadzab or Tadji. The Spits from either Kiriwina, Momote or perhaps Morotai. as for the P-40's anywhere from Noemfoor, Tadji, Biak, Hollandia, Nadzab, Cape Gloucester, Morotai or even Tarakan. Sorry but I don't have many specifics on them pics, I know which Sqn, but where at I don't know.
Anyway The mighty Ca-15 and Woomera.
Some pics of 18 sqn NEIAF. This squadron operated B25's from Australia and was made up of Dutch and RAAF personnel. Most of the Dutch service men had escaped from the Japanese when they captured the Netherlands East Indies. Although under RAAF command, it was decided to paint the a/c in Dutch markings for moral purposes as the squadron operated almost entirely over the NEI's.
