| Wings Over Houston 2008 I have not been able to post photos in a while. The college has installed new computers and I thought I would give them a try. Here are some photos from last year. DBII

| Cool photos! Quite a variety of aircraft were there...and that's twice today that I've seen shots of a YaK-18

| I'm going to try my best to make it down there this year. I think it's October 31st or something like that. I have been in the C-47 "Bluebonnet Belle" before. They found that plane in a field and spent 3 or 4 years restoring it.

| Here is my report on 2009 WOH. After 2 days of heavy thunder storms, the weather was perfect. The sky was crystal clear. The F-15 strike eagle went up 3 miles in 20 seconds and I could still see the bird. I was disappointed about the lack of active duty aircraft present this year. I guess war will to that. The Blue Angles did another outstanding show. My 10 year old nephew went to his first airshow, that was cool. He had his camera and was taking photos along with my father and myself. Everytime we took a picture he thought that he had to. It was funny. Back to the air show. There was a P-40 in a new paint job, British dark green and earth over light blue. It was in Tx Hill's markings. Devil Dog blew an engine and did not make it again this year. If anyone has $75,000, they are looking for a new engine. It was good the see Texas Raider sitting next to Thunderbird. The CAF was able to fly it in but it did not fly during the show. The CAF is sellling rivets on the Texas Raider. You an be the proud part owner of the Texas Raider by buying a rivet. The Horsemen did a three man P-51 formation flying the was nice to watch. I was able to get shots of 4 P-51s to add to the collection. Glacier Gal made a retunr trip and I was able to get some good shots park next to Happy Jack's Go Buggy (P-51). I was also able to get shots of a Navy F-16 painted as a Mig-29, used at the top Gun School. There were 3 heritage flights with different mix of aircraft. I took 6 rolls of film and have 2 porcessed. Only 3 more and I wil post some pictures. So here is want happed at the lab today. I dropped of 3 rools and ask them the check the color. I returned in 3 hours to pick them up. The clerk said that there was nothing on the roll. After talking to him, I asked if there was film leader sticking out of the roll before he processed it. He said yes. The kid had processed a roll of unexposed film. I then looked over the pictures and the runway was brown and the sky was grey. Hello the sky was blue with no overcast or clouds yesterday. All of the color is off again. I will be so glad when I can get a digital camera. I hope to post photos next week. DBII
