    WWII Swords

    I have resized the photos from my earlier thread and added a few more. It looks like there are two types of officer's swords. The photos were taken with a simple digital video camera that I use for the group builds so the focus is a little off.

    When we go into battle, we play music very loud. It kind of... calms us down."

    You have a real Gem my friend. As a collector I am very jealous. Because of the "family" history of these swords, do not let them go.

    Do you have knowledge of pre 1936 blades, a friend of mine was over last PM trying to find out a little on a knife that was gifted to his family in 36 Germany. I hope DBII doesn't think I'm trying to hijack

    The Japanese military sword with cherry blossoms was for the navy.

    Thanks for the information. I have been researching army swords. Pbfoot, what is the handle made of?

    I have no clue. It is not a military knife though.
