Country: | I've been been listening to the Democratic Convention on the radio as I motor around , intend to pay heed to the Rep's as well but the interesting things I've noted was the relative amount of comparisons to Lincoln, .
The amount of Spanish spoken by the candidates for the Hispanic voters , the cameras are always picking out the minorities , even the music is well chosen with such purpose . It is an extremely well produced and effective tool Personal Poll bumper stickers I've seen around town

Country: | i saw in tv the resume of that "convention", and what surprised me was how everything was soo tested, the lack of spontaneity, the cliches, and the public very like a "claque" of some tv show. it wasnt about politics, it was for tv viewers attendance.

One of the major goals of the convention is to energize the party and voters go get out and vote.

Country: | but what i really tink was interesting is that total discipline of the public. seems like all those people spent all week training to clap hands and say "yes!" at the same time. almost a japanese organization.
its totally beyond the natural, btw its not natural its for tv, to pick more contributors and more voters.
"-yeees ! - clap clap clap..." very funny ! everybody at the same time ! so true, so spontaneus !

Country: | its not ridiculous if you remember that goebbles is the father of modern political propaganda. you watch a ancient nazi propaganda program and you see lots of cliches that still in use today by worldwide politicians. more one nazi contribution to modern world that still not recognized !

Country: | Conventions are little more that a Political Commercial in my opinion. I've heard radio hosts and other talk of days when Political Conventions were much more exciting and spontanious the the modern day affairs. Many times the Convention goers had no clue who would won the nomination until the Convention was over. Nowadays it is, as Jug point out all rehearsed and correographed into just on big PA announcement. Republican side will be much the same I'm sure.

Country: | McCain dropped a bomb today on the dimocrats, IMO, with his pick for VP. To quote Carl Rove,"it was brilliant." Unless the dims dig up something very negative about her, I predict this cinches it for McCain. |

Country: | you must give credit to Barrack the man sure can give a speech
the Dems looked real good in the convention and had big numbers on the networks , will just have to see how the Reps do in there convention .
I'm interested to see how all the folks who cite experiance as one of the qualities needed now have this hottie will very little experiance just "a heartbeat away from the Presidency "
