Country: | Now using the pilot analogy isn't it also unwise to lock yourself in to a decision so far in advance in retrospect to whom your voting
, I would have much more faith in Palin if she wasn't locking 2 immature (read future divorce) kids together in some shotgun type of wedding |

Where you getting that from pb? I may not be up to date on this (because IMO it's irrelevant), but I haven't heard anything about her making these kids get married.

He's not the maverick that he claims he was and is still backed by a political machine from his home state. I'll hold my nose and vote for him and hope the next four years goes quick...
As far as uniting the country - as long as there is a generation of demanding crybabies who feel that they are "owed" material pleasures with minimal work, there will be no uniting this country.

Country: | let Palin clean house like she did Alaska
getting pretty tired of hearing about her misfit kids and the crappy decisions the children have made, if this is all the Dems have up their butts to give out via media teleplay then the USA is a sorry sight if Obamination and his cronies get elected.
doesn't matter really anyway, God will pick whom HE wants in office .......maybe we need to get slammed harder to wake up |

TO | It is irrelevant . I haven't even got a clue if our PM is married or has kids
The young lad just got caught between a rock and a hard place and the whole affair seems to be going at break neck pace , and I put myself in his shoes
On his MySpace page,
He's a hockey tough guy who's had a few brushes with the law.
He calls himself "a f------ redneck," and threatens, on his MySpace page, "Ya f--- with me I'll kick ass."
This razor-tempered 18-year-old has become the centre of buzz at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minn.
Why?
He is the father of Bristol Palin's unborn baby and Bristol, 17, is the eldest daughter of Republican vice-presidential candidate, Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska.
Revelations about Bristol's hockey-playing paramour, Levi Johnston, came to light in reports from the New York Daily News and the New York Post which logged on to Johnston's MySpace site.
On his MySpace page, according to the Post, he says he has a girlfriend but adds that "I don't want kids." |

Luckily for you guys on the right, it usually results in the Dem's nominating a far left candidate who gets shot down in flames in November. {Mondale, Dukakis, Kerry} | If that is the candidate that the party wants to nominate, then that is their candidate. If they wanted to elect a more formidable opponent, they very well could. The party's decision is their own; it's not so much a "goofy system."

Country: | Who cares what the daughters boyfriends blog-site says. I would say that 90% of any other 16-21 year old males blogs say about the same thing as this guys does. How does he reflect the views of Mrs. Palin? They don't, just the media trying to up thier ratings and smear yet another public official they do not share the same views with. |

Why do you say things like this that you have no way to backup?

I'd sadly laugh if the kid dumps the girl and goes on his merry way (and more than likely that will happen).

Sure her kid's actions contradicts Palin's moral agenda, but then again I could find dozens of families in the same predicament. Bottom line you, I or anyone else cannot call this a shot gun wedding when the kid who got Palin's daughter pregnant or his family hasn't given any evidence of such.
