Everything is loaded in their favor, a GOP president the last 8 years so normally the other party wins, an unpopular war( although probably won) in Iraq, the economy in a rough patch for which Bush and the GOP get the blame, (undeservedly) a main stream media unabashedly for Obama(mainly because of his race) a GOP candidate with luke warm support from a goodly number of his own party. Yet the race could still be won by McCain. IMO, shows what a weak candidate Obama is. If the dims had nominated some moderate candidate or even Hillarita, they would have a slam dunk victory, similar to the Johnson-Goldwater race.
Very true ren. But this ongoing Wall Street meltdown will help Obama.

I got a bad feeling!

This race reminds me so much of what happened to Bob Dole... it just is not looking good for McCain-Palin. If it weren't for her being in the game, I'm afraid it would already be settled.

I am afraid youall are right. It is almost inconceivable to me that our poor country might wind up having a BHO and his wife Michelle in the White House and a congress led and dominated by the likes of pelosi, franks, reid, schumer, etc. The final blow is this meltdown of the market caused by the sub prime mess which the dims caused. It seems that the fates are against us and our way of life. My only hope is that BHO is overpolling and that the racists that won't stand for a black in the White House cancel out the racists who are voting for BHO because of his race. That would be poetic justice.

Looks like perfect storm. And you're right ren. For the good of the country, as you stated, I'm hoping the white racists cancel out the black racists.

Never been so worried about an election, and the fate of the country, in my 59 years.

You know, you're right! We still have 30 days until election and we're starting to sound like the ship has already hit the Locker! 30 days is a long time especially for "change"!

Notice the scam in all of this the poll numbers in the many of the so called blue states is within 1% in Obama's favor. What if the error factor is +-2%?!

Yes, we have a perfect storm for the dimocrats now. The ironic thing about it is that the economic problems we now are experiencing are the result of dimocrats advancing their social programs without regard for human nature and reality and it is all working in their favor. On top of that they are doing everything they can in the so called battleground states to win the election by fraudulent means. Remember the motto of the left, "the end justifies the means." Probably, the "perfect storm" will continue with the dimocrats controlling the executive and the legislature and by late spring the economy will be recovering on it's own and the mainstream media will give the credit to the dimocrat party. However, seeing the result of the FNMA fiasco, just think how much damage a pelosi led House, a reid led Senate and a BHO in the White House can do along with their lap dogs, the media.

could be 2% for obama yet, and 2% for mccain, then obama takes 66% of the chances because its two possibilities in favor and one against.

This election is a fraud. How did America end up with the choices of Obama and Mcain? These two candidates are chosen by who? They offer the same bull and non solutions. Obama comes from way out in left field and nobody a year ago would have voted for Mcain. How can the American people be so uninformed, so accepting of the propaganda being shoved down their throats by politicians and blindly begging for totalitarian government? The public indoctrination centers called schools. For forty years, America's children have been so dumbed down and bred to cattle mentality, they know nothing about the issues, only sound bites and what their party "leadership" tells them. Point the herd in the desired direction, apply the prod and get the desired results.

Well, in one way it comes down to this.

Here in NJ the majority of voters have registered as Independants, and not able to vote in the primaries of the two major parties. Left out of the selection, you get what ya get.

After 20 years as Indepenant I woke up, registered Republican and at least can vote for who to vote when the voting counts as a vote when voting.
