Country: | Hell no. Not from a day to day point of view anyway. You leave them alone, they'll leave you alone. |

Country: | About 35 years ago the Hells Angels were starting trouble close to where I lived, they were comin in from New Jersey. The mob came in and "pianio-wired" a road and ambushed about 20 of them at a bar they like to go to. These mob guys chased them down the bobby trapped road. Problem solved!
I knew Hells Angels and Vagos when I lived in California, they never seemed to bother - be rest assured if you live in a neighborhood where a few of them lived, the crime rate was always low....

Country: | That is the way they were. They would fight the thugs. I know several people that were Hells Angels and they are and were very good people. You just dont piss them off and as FBJ said the crime rate was low in there neiborhood.

Country: | Theyre not so great here in Edmonton, they are the Mob in Edmonton, My Uncle Terry used to sell drugs and Assault rifles for them until he got caught, the day of his trial my dad and an 'escort' found him dead on the floor of his bathroom, looked like a drug overdose but his motorbike and half ton just disappeared, though I have no proof that the Hells Angels did it, I do know that he was working for them and he would had to rat them out if he made it to trial, so it makes sense as to why they would kill him.

Country: | They're the mafia wherever they are, and if you get tangled up with them it's bad news. From the point of view of a regular dude minding his business though, they're really not very threatening. They usually take pains to keep it that way precisely to keep unwanted attention at bay, and they can actually make for pretty good neighbours on the surface. Like I said, if you leave them alone they'll leave you alone. You f*ck with them though, you're taking your chances. |

I lived off of Martindale and Elderwood in 1987/88. Brand new townhomes.
I was working for Lockheed and was posted at a company called Fleet Industries, Fort Erie...
That's too bad to hear about the change, I thought the whole area was real nice
| i know this sounds like an oxymoron but my father worked for fleet in st kitts when he retired in the 80s and your drive to the fort would pass right by the guy with the 109 the approach path for airport crosses the QEW at about 100ft
and st kitts is still safe but.... |

Country: | Only a few weeks have passed since the attempted mugging two morons tried with me, and my brother has been attacked while getting off a bus. He said, or did nothing but the two lads were annoyed after being kicked out of a pub and thought they'd smack my brother for it. The ring on the thugs hand ripped a lot of flesh off my brothers jaw and he's had to receive nine stitches. The two thugs were caught only a few minutes after by police and ...well ...
The police statment says my brother retaliated in self-defence ...but he didn't. The thugs have broken noses though... I wonder how that happened. Justice is served by the police these days.
Oh, Doncaster...we love you.

Country: | News Update!
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency officials said Saturday that 21 days of testing turned up no sign of the disease on about 80 chicken and duck farms that had been quarantined.
The measure was originally imposed as a precaution after a low-pathogenic strain of the H5N2 virus was detected in November at a duck farm near Chilliwack and another near Abbotsford.
Canadian Food Inspection Agency officials quickly determined the virus wasn't from the same deadly strain that has been blamed for killing at least 65 people in Asia since 2003 and led to the cull of millions of birds.
However, they imposed a quarantine on any operation that lay within a five-kilometre radius of either of the two infected B.C. farms.
On Saturday, CFIA veterinarian Cornelius Kiley said officials were confident the virus hadn't spread.
He said health officials would next focus their energies on trying to get other countries to lift bans on imports of poultry from British Columbia.
The United States, Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong had all imposed temporary bans.
The two farms where the virus was detected will remain under quarantine until the area has been completely disinfected, Kiley said.
British Columbia's poultry industry was devastated in 2004 when the highly infectious H7N3 strain of bird flu spread rapidly from barn to barn, leading to a cull of more than 16 million birds in the Fraser Valley.

Country: | Sorry about your brother pD.
Hussars: What is your point. The US has every right to ban whatever product it wishes. Canada has that right too. Get over it please!

Country: | My friend saved a woman from being raped by a Turkish guy a couple of weeks ago in our town, even though the guy pulled a gun on him. He just got a medal for it yesterday.

Country: | Good thing it wasn't my brother - He's shot about 6 US soldiers over the past 25 years for one thing or another, always was cleared of any wrong doing. The last time was about 2 years ago when he was working security at a base by LA.
