Australian Aboriginal Boxer in his latest Rap Video with some of his nit wit mates burnt the Union Jack and claims the Union Jack is a disgraceful flag representing Murder Rape Pillage and the conquering of native lands. He claims the Australian Flag which bears on it the same Union Jack is not representative of the people and must be changed as it is a disgrace to the nation and to the people. Mundine is no stranger to outlandish statements and made adverse comments about the War on terror some 5 years ago. he likens the Australian and Union Jack Flags respectfuly of the murder of 6 million Jews in Nazi Germany during WW2 and that Europeans particularly Germans learnt their lesson after WW2. Photos of Prime Minister John Howard were also burnt whilst burning the Union Jack and that the Prime Minister must recognize and apologize to the people for the atroscities commit by the British ninemsn Video takes time to load but the report will give you an idea you will have to scroll down for the heading Mundine compares British to Nazis etc. Mundine faces up to another World Title Fight in 5 weeks time. I hope he gets his teeth knocked down his throat. He was a cry baby football player when he played rugby league he is a pitiful boxer and as rap singer goes he should stay clear of politics as his is totally hopeless

Mundine never actually says who the People are. One suspects the minority of course them being dissatisfied Aborigines with the treatment of Aborigines in Australia. Hell we know in Australia how Aborigines were treated in last 200 odd years. He Mundine and his ilk want us collectively to say sorry. I myself refuse to apologise for something I didn't personally do or had no hand in. I am responsible for my own actions not of some one elses and feel no compunction to say sorry for something I didn't do. But when Mundine says the Australian Flag or Union Jack doesn't represents the People. Well he is wrong it represents me and the nation of Australia. Sooner Mundine realizes this and no matter how many flags he burns it makes no difference. The Majority rules here not strange rap music videos done by cry baby footballers who some 5 to 6 years ago buggered off overseas because he wasn't selected to play rugby league for Australia. Mainly because he wasn't good enough and pissed of to Fiji to cry in his kava juice in Fiji. Poor lil mite he was

Country: | I know Plan but remember that Union Jack also forms part of my Nations Flag both of which i am proud of. How do you think it makes me feel as an Aussie to have my heritage and my Country's Flag along with the Union Jack Disgraced by that arsehole

Country:  | Probably doing it under the "any plublicity is good/Shock Value" model. Madonna started it back in the 80s. Back then it was "Like a Virgin" or "My Prayer" (I think on that last one, not a Madonna fan). Also have it in Art ("Piss Christ") and video ("Farenheit 911"). The idea is to either attack the norm with visceral images or distort the truth for political value. It is a constant situation of "one upmanship" in this realm. Real art engages and sometimes shocks but grows better with age. Crap art shocks and is forgotten.
Wouldn't worry about this guy. He sounds like the Pet Rock of music videos. Interesting for a short time, then forgotten.
