And while I still believe in holding one's self to a higher standard, I've reached the point where I will tolerate just about anything so long as it works against the aclu/hate america/hate christians idiots.
Frankly, if I had a choice between any left leaning candiate and a conservative candiate, but the conservative was PROVEN corrupt, I'd vote conservative just to keep the left out (lesser evil principle....)
For a conservative to torc me off enough to vote for a left leaner, he'd have to be caught molesting pre-teens or some crap like that, no joke.
Having said all that.....
It bears repeating.....
I DO want us to hold ourselves to a higher standard.
However, when the aclu and other such idiots USE that virtuous intent to attack America, my "priority" CHANGES to "screw the aclu".
Ideally we'll be able to do both, but I'll settle for screwing the aclu. | |

But do we know where they are? If we did, then surely we would have captured or killed the likes of Bin Laden long ago? Whilst we certainly need to get rid of such people they are very good at blending into the background and recruiting the naive to their cause. If we go in all guns blazing then not only are we stooping to their level, but it will only serve to recruit more to their cause. We not only need to fight the extremists, but show the moderates that our way of life and morals provide a better way of life
