Country: | How about sending them a vial of arsenic, instructions, and a toe tag.
It's a feel good measure like gun bans.

Country: | Excellent idea! While I like Matt's idea better, this will help. Now they need to monitor those 1200 homes to assure compliance...

Country: | California has a website in which you can look for sex offenders by map... It's pretty cool. Just type in your street address and you can see the slime that live around you. We have one 2 doors down..
Scroll to the bottom and click "Enter the California's Megan Law sex offender locator site." California Megan's Law - California Department of Justice - Office of the Attorney General

| from the article.....
"Maryland, which began the program in 2005, is among a number of states placing Halloween restrictions on sex offenders. Maryland's regulations are almost identical to those adopted in Missouri, where four convicted sex offenders and the American Civil Liberties Union are challenging the state law in federal court."
I just knew they had to be sniffing around there somewhere.

They defend NAMBLA as well. ACLU is certainly an enemy of the USA. And you're right, after the election how many more Ruth Bader Ginsburgs will we have to endure?
That's way scarier than Halloween!

I just knew they had to be sniffing around there somewhere. | That is because according to the ACLU, it is more important to defend the rights of child sex offenders than to defend and protect our children.
Way to go ACLU!! I hate the ACLU!

Country: | Heres another great idea. (Don't mean to hijack the thread Maestro!) Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski unveils Landlord Hall of Shame; two New Jersey men are first inductees - News, Weather, Sports & Entertainment for Allentown, Lehigh County & more - lehighvalleylive.com Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski unveils Landlord Hall of Shame; two New Jersey men are first inductees.
Adam Thor of Elmwood Park, N.J. and his brother, Ira Thor of Old Bridge, N.J. were inducted this morning into Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski's Landlord Hall of Shame. The mayor made the announcement outside 343 and 345 N. Ninth St., properties owned by Adam Thor. He also owns properties at 217 N. Fourth St., 387 Liberty St. and 394 Tilghman St.
Ira Thor is the owner of 624 N. Second St., 511 Chew St. and 1112 Chew St. The properties at North Second St., 1112 Chew St. and 387 Liberty St. have been deemed unfit for human habitation, the city announced.
The city is posting pictures of some of the Allentown violations and the homes where Adam and Ira Thor reside on the city Web site.
The Allentown Police Department has responded to Thor properties nearly 125 times since Jan. 1, 2007. Reasons include unwanted persons, disturbances, assault, forcible entry, thefts, drunkenness, drug possession, noise and animal complaints and harassment by communication.
The town also placed large signs on the properties with the landlord's name, address and phone numbers - big as day.

Country: | I"m betting the ACLU is going to scream about the rights of those individuals being violated, they can't be held under house arrest, etc. Good thing I'm not there in that courtroom. Those putrescent scumbags lost their friggin rights the first time they THOUGHT about laying an unwanted hand on a child. If it were up to me, they'd be branded across the forehead as a Child Molester, then thrown into General Population at the worst prison the US can scrounge up. That, or face a firing squad. And line the ACLU right up there with 'em.
The problem with the country today is that criminals often have more rights and priviliges than the average law-abiding citizen.
