Bombs planted in German train stations.

This past week 2 bombs were planted in German train stations. One was in Koblenz and one was in Dortmund. The bombs were found in suit cases and did not detonate.

Police are looking at possible islamic terrorist connections to the bombs.

Not good. People everywhere need to stay vigilant for anything suspicious.

It was on the German news and we also recieved a threat brief at work about it yesterday. The Army wants us to be very cautious when using the German trains due to these incidents.

Here is some info on it:

Quote:
BERLIN (Reuters) - German federal prosecutors said on Tuesday they were investigating a possible terrorist link to two bombs found in the German towns of Dortmund and Koblenz this week.

Germany's Federal Prosecutors Office in Karlsruhe said it was looking into the incidents, in which luggage with propane gas was found in both towns on Monday.

"Because of the proximity in time of the two discoveries of explosives, we are investigating an unknown perpetrator and possible membership of a terrorist group," said the Federal Prosecutors Office in a statement.

One of the bombs was discovered in an abandoned suitcase at a train station in Dortmund, which hosted some of last month's World Cup matches.

Local state prosecutors said the bomb, which was later defused, could have seriously injured and killed people but gave no more details.

Station officials contacted police after an attendant found the suitcase on a train. It contained a crude device made of a bottle of propane gas, 4.5 litres of petrol, a timer and cables.

A second explosive device was found at Koblenz station, but no more details were available.

Could be our buddies from the middle east or it could be some nutjobs out there. Personally, prefer the nutjobs as they have less determination and are fewer in number than the other crowd.

Hope they catch them.

It's getting closer and closer to me liking the idea of Crusade IV.
