Candidate who is not a Candidate

So elections are coming and we have 40 hopefuls on the democrat side and 40 hopefuls on the republican side and another 40 hopefuls who are disillusioned.

But who should be a candidate? Who should be running but is not? I posted in another thread that I would like to see Colin Powell go for it. Any other suggestions?

I have an inherent distrust of all politicians, but it's a necessary process. They just seem so fake on TV. I have never seen one that I look and say "hey, that guy is genuine."

So I'll tell you that I don't want Clinton or Giuliani. I'm still looking for a candidate worth my vote.

You did, Chris. In another thread I mentioned that I didn't think this country
was ready for a black president, with the exception of Colin Powell. If he
were to run I believe he would be an absolute shoo-in. However, his wife
is the driving force for him NOT to run. He has concerns for his family's
safety. Possibly, with good reason....

Interesting, I've also been hearing that Mayor Bloomberg is another candidate that's not a candidate.
