When i lived in Ontario, i lived right near Ipperwash, and jeez, the Natives were making so much noise about the land claim that they scared people away, alot of white business was recieved in there stores, casino and there resorts, but after the Dudley Moore incident, the reserve is broke, the reserves in Ontario i beleive take alot for granted,

now alot of Natives here in Alberta are f*cking damn hard workers and intellegent people, i know many native oil workers who work on the rigs in Red Deer and Ft Mcmurry, but the HUGE problem is that when these people from the reserve get their reparation cheque they come to the city and have no idea on how to conform to city life style, so theyre jobless, homeless, and eventually broke, same story in any major city in Canada.

I dont see things changing any time soon, i beleive things might improve for the cities if life skill education programs are made mandatory for those who want to leave the reserve

102 I don't think even that would help Life Style Skills etc. Can imagine the first time they would have it enforced and the Do Gooders of society and Political Correct would have a ****ing field day. Saying the Government was racist and the White Community has no say in this or that as this program wasn't in place for the White community etc so by and large its just another racists scheme by the Government to downgrade native population etc etc etc. What you are advocating is a good idea 102 and I agree with it. But can you see it being enforced here in Australia or Canada. Not in my life time 102

maybe, but then again Native Reserves are located on Crown Canadian Land atleast here in Alberta, so they really wouldnt have any say in the matter, and white people here in canada IMO have lost alot of sympathy for the native populatin

The problem, as I see it, is the neverending string of freebies and handouts. Why would you work if you don't have to?

Natives in Canada have access to free education and most of them don't use it. I think some future government with balls will have to eventually say:

"Ok kiddos, make sure you get your free education...cuz you're going to have to pay for your children's education. Just like every other Canadian."

Hi guys I have not been here for quite a while now. Missed all you son of a guns. Well the fact that the natives can not actualy do something worh making a fuss over. Here the one is killing that one, this one hates the non natives and the other just give a sh*t about the rest and will do anything to stay in power and have the most say over everyone.
