On Good Morning America, this morning, there was a piece about Condoleeza Rice having a meeting with John McCain. The speculation is she is asking for the V.P. seat !

Country: | Politically, McCain should pick either a woman or a minority for the post to balance the ticket. If it is another white guy, he's going to lose.
The Dem is going to be either a black guy or a woman. The VEEP choice for the Rep has to counter that affect. | |

| Well, at least she is highly qualified for the position.
I have no problem with her.
Especially when she becomes president of the Senate and the democrat senators will have to kiss her feet.

Country: | I have no problem with her. From the small amount I have read and watched about her, she seems to get the job done without any arm-twisting in the Rumsfeld/Cheney vein. She seems to be well accepted by the rest of the world and her past efforts have some merit. After watching the recent Frontline piece about her, I was impressed how she tried to push forward a do-able solution in Iraq only to get pushed aside. She speaks well, can handle Congressional inquires and looks to have a backbone.
I wouldn't have a problem at all with her as VP.

Country: | I got no problem with Condi either. Not sure she would be my first choice for VP but she is far more qualified to hold any position in government than either B. Hussein or the She-Devil.

Tim, good point about the Repub's needing a minority to balance the ticket. Condi would be perfect as it would sway some black and female votes away from the dark side.
Adler, ANYTHING is better than Hillabitch or Hussain in the white house so I agree with that too.

The Mexicans really liked Hilary, but if she loses, It's looking like it, then it's hard to tell if they would vote for a black man as president. I know some mexicans and blacks resent each because they often compete for the same jobs. But then that Mexican Dem Govenor gave his support to Obama, so who knows.
But it's possible if there was a Mexican Vice President we might get some of the middle roader Mexicans on McCains side.
