Was the Corps Denied Access to Golden Gate Bridge??

Any truth to the reporting that the US Marine Corps was denied use of the Golden Gate bridge for an ad, based upon a council woman's view that the bridge is not allowed to have guns within its proximity and the ad filming would have been disruptive to traffic??

God tell us its not true...

Would not surprise me. It has nothing to do with laws though but rather this womans distaste for the military.
