To begin with that is a racist attitude just as much as saying I won't vote for him because he has black blood. Show me a good man or woman and I would vote for him or her regardless of color. obama and his wife are banking on his color which is a form of racism to help him get elected. Do you think for a minute that he would be winning primaries if he was a wet behind the ears white senator from Illinois? |

Vote for him so that the Blacks will "feel" better about themselves and the liberals will no longer "feel" guilty about slavery. Don't be concerned about his qualifications or political beliefs. Vote for him so we can redress the sins of the past and because it will make us "feel" good.. My problem is that I don't believe much in "feelings" but rather rational thought! | |

Country:  | Angry White Man. Very interesting piece. And yes there are many Angry White Man here in Australia. And why are they angry? For the very same if not similar attitudes already expressed. Every thing from Family Law Courts to every Political issue you could and can imagine. Angry White Man wants justice in every day life in Australia with justified equality. But he doesn't believe throwing money at problems or the hand out society is the answer to solve problems in any arena in Australia. He believes that everyone deserves a fair go but you work your arse off and not rely on the Government for a bloody hand out.
The Angry White Man can be of any colour in Australia and from any ethenic background or political background. Politicans piss him off at their peril and Political Correctness not only annoys him but baffles him by uttering illogical utterences.
The Angry White Man maybe of any Religious background or he maybe of none but he believes in Freedom of Religion and tolerance as long as others are tolerant of his beliefs or non beliefs.
His Political Beliefs he holds dear and his love for Australia and what Australia stands for is entrenched into his own soul and being. Has he picked up a rifle or a gun to defend his home? The answer is yes he has on many occassions. He can and is referred to as an ANZAC or a DIGGER and many an Angry White Man has given his all for Australia. Every year on the 25th April we salute and remember the Angry White Man who served Australia in our Military.
Is he a super patriot? No that would embarrass him. But he is Patriotic quietly in his own mind and with his mates over a few quiet beers.
Has the Angry White Man in Australia a sense of humour? Yes he has. He has had to learn to grin and bare things in life. Ever since some of his ancestors where transported in wooden walled prison ships or he was the Royal Marine with a Brown Bess Musket guarding other Angry White Men transported from Mother England. Or he was the Free Settler in a new and strange land where he had to plough a field of rock and rubble to grow wheat and barley and the heat and droughts and lack of seasonal rains made his life near unbearable.
And when he broke his plough on ground so unyielding a strange bird the Natives called a Kookaburra sat in a tree laughing at his efforts in a manaic laugh.
The Angry White Man was the explorer and Boundary Rider the Sheep and Cattle Man from the Scrub and Bush. He has Had Poets and Songsters write songs and poems of his exploits in a Wide Brown Land and still with stoic humour the Angry White Man still survived in an unforgiving Country.
He was the City Bloke who worked in banks and the Wharfs or down the Coal Mine. His Humour and his loyalty to his family knew no bounds. And even today the Ancestors of the Angry White Man continues in every day life.
You may ask how do I know this? Answer my friends is quiet simple I too am an Angry White Man. As was my Father and his Father before him. You call me an Aussie and I am but remember this I am and always will be not only an Aussie but an Angry White Man and I wear that badge with pride and honour and the courage that my Father instilled in me to be whom I am
