Country: | Fox Hunting right, it was bound to come up, what are your views on the ban on using packs of dogs to chase and kill foxes in Britain??

Country: | Load of prats bouncing up and down on horses wearing fancy dress claiming that using thirty dogs and fortys rides is the best way to control fox numbers and its nothing to do with fun . Foxes need controling a gun and a good warden is the way to do it, not some fat lard arse blowing a bleeding prat horn and saying "the townies dont understand the ways of the countryside" if they want to hunt then at least admit its done for the love of hunting and no other reason.

Country: | I love the term "Prat"... I have started using it here in the States, and I love the deer in the headlights look I get when I use it.......
First of all, u gotta be a real fruity faggot to prance around on a horse all dressed up like a poofta on his way to the Ball...
Secondly, the fox population has to be controlled as they have no real predators...
Thirdly, I dont think it should be banned.... Over here u can hunt deer, boar, and raccons with dogs... It works the same way, only ur in Camo instead of Gayness... In some states it's illegal... Some its not... Do u think a fox suffers anymore so than a raccoon??? Both are run to death by dogs, and are usually torn apart of shot to death at the end of it all....
The Federal Govt should not interfere with Local Jurisdiction... State/County Rights should be voted upon by the local population, not some assholes in a big white building 1,300 miles away...
Besides, only a retarded moron would participate in one of these hunts with dogs... Do ur own work and kill what u eat if its for fun...... If its about population control, do it as easy and painless as possible...
We used to go to the Dumps at night and sit up top and plunk Rats with .22's... Dozens of em... Thats the way to do it.......

Send some guys up there in Land Rovers with a 12 gauge and shoot the bastards I dont like the use of dogs for hunting. To me, a dog is a domestic pet and they deserve a pampered, quiet life (I love dogs, in case you hadnt guessed.) Training them to kill is wrong in my eyes. I just think its stupid though, "Haha look at me in my middle-ages clothing blowing a horn!" Its much more modern to use a gun and a vehicle, not animals. Its sports like this that prove Britain is old fashioned.

| Unfortunatly, u have to train a dog NOT to kill... They are carnivors, not omnivors like humans, or herbivors like cows... Promote the aggressiveness and uve got a killer... Cuddle and talk in that silly puppy voice, and u have mans best friend...
To use dogs to herd or push game towards the hunters is one thing... To let the dogs kill and rip apart the game is retarded... This isnt 1858 anymore... Times have changed...

Country: | I think the problem over here Les is that with a very small country like ours wild life is much rarer so controlling it has to be carefully managed
it don't take long to upset the balance where in the states a few thousand racoons or deer ect hardly scratches the surface with the huge numbers around having said that in the right circumstances even they could suffer the North American Bison is a prime case (but then it was at a time when only the native Indians realised the methods for conserving the herds and money ruled the plains for the hunters)

Country: | U know the old stat... Over 75% of the Worlds Species are now Extinct...
I understand the whole Conservation side of things perfectly well... I hunt Deer, Boar and Turkey with my Bow...
Train the dogs (with muzzles on) to "push" the foxes into large, long nets.... Keep the foxes alive and transplant them to where there are rodent problems...
Problem solved???

Country: | I live to the west of Denver, close to the mountains and near an open wildness. I see fox all the time. Some of them have gotten so arrogant as I'm driving to work in the morning they stroll down the sidewalk like a family pet.

Country: | It was rare FBJ as we where down in the foot hills and mostly they live up the top of the mountains in Spain.
Theres an achery shop near me Les its not something I have ever done but I always fancied an old fashioned English long bow on the wall till I found out the price. I assume you use a modern composite hunting bow Les?

Problem solved??? | That makes so much more sense. Either that or make the farmers put Claymores round the Chicken coops...They'll soon learn... Quote: |
