Country: | No, but seriously. Another fear of mine is that it could begin to snowball. There have been strong voices for British Columbia's independence over the years, and Alberta is doing the best they've ever done for themselves. It sounds far-fetched to a lot of people, but I'm not so sure. We could go the way of the Soviet Union rather quickly if we're not careful about this. |

Alberta?, geez we probably could make it, but we do rely on the feds for certain things like health care etc, however Alberta would have to rely on the Americans to buy our oil and I dont think they will because we are not apart of Canada hense not a member of NAFTA and another hense means they risk being tarrifed the **** out of,
Because thats how us Albertans play it, Ukraniun style
If Stephen Harper wins I am convinsed this country is going to change, Quebec is lose its welfare cheques, sponsership handouts, I hope they take those prick racist ****heads away from Kanasetaki and kanewoki reserves, because of those racist f*ck Heads the canadian army had to be humiliated.
Im getting off topic again, THINGS ARE GONNA CHANGE WHEN THE LIBERALS LEAVE

The Conservatives would need the chance to effect change, and we've all become so damn brainwashed and pussified that much of it would be a hard sell. Yeah, a lot of people are sick to death of Martin and the Chrétien legacy, but are they sick enough to give Harper a decent chance, or will we flip-flop right back to the Liberals come the following election? The Tories would need a strong majority government, and be in office long enough to undo even half the damage done already.
You see, that's one of our biggest problems. It's our mindset. For decades we've been handling the Québec issue all wrong. We treat them with kid-gloves and the feds just keep giving in. The separation movement should have been effectively dealt with in the 1960's. The problem is, now may be too late to do anything about that because the BQ has been allowed to gain a strong foothold in the Commons and the PQ has only grown stronger in Québec itself.
And y'know, there's just the possibility that Martin might actually win this election. |

Country: | Yeah, start with the idea that 45% of the power is in Ontario, 45% in Québec and 10% for the other provinces joined together.
Ontario always voted Liberal and Québec is so f*cked up that I wonder if Québekers knows that there is other parties than the BQ.
I just heard on TV that the Liberals promised a lot of cash today. Half of it was going in Ontario, the rest of it was spread across the country. I doubt Ontarians are gonna vote against them after that.
So I'm ready to bet that the Conservators will, once again, get their ass kicked by the Liberals. |

Oh thats a Liberal tradition, they always do that before election, then when they win they take it back.
"And y'know, there's just the possibility that Martin might actually win this election."
Not possible the Ontario people as I know them very well, will not trust them, John A Mcdonalds Government fell because of a scandal with the Railway, the Ontario people booted him then theyll do it now, and beleive me alot of people in Ontario voted for the Conscervatives last election with only vague info on the Scandal, Now they know how F*cked the Liberals are and they wont stand it, and after Dalton Maginty was voted in as Ontario premeir he broke each and every one of his election promises and it didnt go over very well with the people, Ontario is clearly getting sick with the Liberals.
In unrelated News, I just found something that I think will cheer this post up. http://www.mytelus.com/news/article....icleID=2096573
NS are those tears of joy or did you spill your beer again?

Country: | What won the election for the liberals last time was not ontario but toronto all the ridings for the most part outside of TO voted conservative the fact TO votes liberal i think can be blamed on the high ethnic vote and the fact the liberals have always catered to them they've made getting a canadian citizenship a joke 3 years i believe and once the guys get their papers they then apply to get their gay great uncle with aids twice removed over here. the next thing is they get here see you have to work for aliving decide thats too hard join a gang sell drugs (poorly) and shoot each other and claim were racist which i wasn't but am now

Besides, Keith's isn't really beer so it's alright to spill it in my book. Worth it even. |
