Infact is was about 30 days ago they found Arty pieces with VX gas burried in the desert. Did not hear much about that in the news though due to insergent road side bomb threats and them finding them and using them for that.

Iraq, Iran, Saudia Arabia, Syria, Lybia, and these are just examples are interlinked with movable connections throughout, reason why we are imbedded since 1980 in these overlystimulated countries. They work together so please do not be deceived, I know this as fact as still have intel contacts that prove this to be very true. The Media would have you believe otherwise | I stand corrected, thanks its a mistake I will not make again |

Country: | I know that the military is crazy nowadays with embedded reporters and the publics apparent "right" to know every last detail of a war... but doesn't anybody ever consider that there are things that civilians are not able to be told due to those silly little things called SECURITY CLEARANCES??? |

Country: | You are absolutely correct and that is allways a heated debate here. I hate the press. I remember when we got to fly some reporters out of Iraq because they were reporting on sensitive things. They had no clue how they were making our very dangerous situation even more. I wish I could have kicked them out my bird at a 10ft. hover so they could bounce a bit.

A strong push for cohesion in Nato is the threat from the East. Specifically, Russia. Got nothing against Russia but 5-600 years of duking it out with Europe (through many political manifistations) doesn't end because everybody decides to go PC. That wolf is always at the door. People who know history recoginize it.
Think Nato will get plenty of warning if Ivan heads west. Decade, maybe less. But will they react to it. Probably Eastern Europe will. Their problems with Russia are not even a generation old. But beyond that, the impetutus will receed with distance. But the threat won't.
Didn't think France was still in Nato. Thought they left in the sixties and had not come back. One of DeGaul's gigs. |

Country: | I too had thought the same thing about France. I think they may have reentered the treaty but not sure. Doubt it.

Country: | Here's something interesting.
I was on a political forum and it was pointed out that there were some small amounts of WMDs found buried in Iraq. There were photos of Skud missile parts, some buried artillery rounds capable of carrying gas, and even some small amounts of mustard. This lady posted the following... Quote: |
Those are not the kind of WMD that Bushco advertised to America as posing imminient danger and from the looks of the photos, they'd been previously dismantled and buried under the sand--not much good for anyone bent on using them as weapons.

Country: | They found more than that trust me, and stuff that was capable of doing damage.

My cousins kid: a scout has found some real intereting treats as they have pinned too many Mideast scum to the walls as they were dribbling evidence of where stock piles of crap have been located, found and some of it eliminated, none of it reproted on the news and will not be.......... |

Country: | Part of the problem is that, again, these folkks don't know what they don't know as certain info can't be released due to security. The other part is, that I'm sure some has been leaked because security of information in the US is like a hose run over by a lawnmower - and the left leaning media just WILL NOT report it. They rush off to report other sensitive material, even at the expense of harming the country they "love", yet they will not put forth any material that bruises their cause.
I remember back with the Israeli jaunt into Lebanon seeing a reporter running his mouth saying that artillery was firing from just beyond the hills behind him, and they always say what city they are in. Now, I'm not an arty guy, but you can find the approx location from the video of the reporter based on background and other visual cues, plot this beyond the ridge line which he was speaking of - and there you go... coordinates to aim at and hit Israeli arty positions. These reporters just don't think when they open their mouths and realize that the enemy's best source of intelligence nowadays is US reporters! |
