You and about 6 other people including your government which you usually say is foolish except when you find a common thread . Her is a new little tidbit I even got the fox news article so you wouldn't think it liberal propaganda

PBFoot,

You've obviously missed my point. Like I've said in the other threads; Global Warming is a liberal agenda. Ask yourself, why the push and rush to make it legislated? Why the mass hysteria? Who's behind it? You'll begin to see that radical stalinististic environmentalists are behind it.

Do you think if this crap is legislated next month that it will matter compared to a couple years? The answer is no.

Also, if you've lived at all in the real world, you will begin to recognize that a lot of crazy ideas get out. Many of these may not be true. So my point is "so what" somebody said something about more CO2 in the ocean. It doesn't matter. Is the science complete, no it isn't.

If you get a new and different determination every week is that proveable science? Hell no. So relax, and let the science be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt before you try to panic the public.

If I lived out in the real world..... I get up every morning and put my work boots on pal and I break into a sweat ... I really think you give conservatives a bad name. If we had more people like you the Vikings would have never discovered America , Galileo would still be held in contempt I'm actually surprised your not disputing whether the earth is flat and that the sun revolves around the earth

Well Galileo was defied for religious reasons, and which is more like a religion, environmentalism or the sceptics? From my personal experience global warming believers are not scientists, but most of the sceptics are involved in science in some way. We need healthy debate, not insults towards the sceptics or believers, we have had enough of that. I wish the media could let the heretics speak without labeling them as "corporate lapdogs" or something similar.

Yes, Matt, I did. I've noticed that. Everyone on the net answers rhetorical questions. Odd.

This was your gist really, Harvard, and I get your point. Wait until the investigations are complete. But there is one major fault. Time. It's all very good sitting here in our BMW X3s and our Range Rovers until we're sure we have to do somthing, but what if it's too late in 20 years, and the effects are irreversible?

Chamberlain waited for Hitler, and Poland, Austria and Czechoslovakia were invaded.

As for pbfoot's scaldings, just keep arguing, let's not turn this into a duel of insults...

I did too, it's extremely funny someone makes fun and avoids the argument altogether!

I didn't say 20, but I did say wait for the science to be absolutely unquestionable.

I don't know if you watched the GWS video that this post is about, but it stated that this whole GW movement is a panic "power grab" by stalinistic liberals. They want to regulate and destroy capitalism by putting restrictions on cars planes, powerplants, and all the current standard energy markets.

Look at the mass hysteria and frenzy, and the rush to push this agenda before the science is out. you'll see this is not really about the environment, it's really about a political power struggle. It's about radical 1960's hippie type people trying to institute a new form of communism called "GW".

So when will it be time to worry as stated earlier in this thread one can find sources to back either point of view . I contend that there is a warming and I believe it is for the most part man made ,and if it is not man made and cyclical the stuff the we all we do as humans is only hastening the effects . You worry about illegal immigration your worries will be trebled as people are forced to leave areas that will be harder hit by the warming trend and seek new places to live. I even predict that the area you live in will be one of those areas hardest hit . I found merits in the video that is the basis for this thread but believe overall we are in trouble if you want to grasp at the occasional bone that backs your point of view and run with it go for it . But when the time comes that when you personally are effected by these ghost effects beware don't come here for your water as I'll be sitting in my hide on the border with all my automatic weapons and stalinistic friends smoking dope and picking off interlopers

It seems I heard the same thing in the mid 80s when acid rain was the fad. It seems all the trees are still there on both sides of the border. I wonder what will be "in" 20 years from now - killer sunspots?!?

Its an attempt to legislate nature. What everyone fails to realize is there is nothing that humans can do to reverse, stop, or whatever, this thing they call GW. I have a better name. "Entropy".

Politicians and Gore and his cronies fail to realize that things degrade and eventually there is change. Its what nature does. They just want someone to blame for it. Just like they did with acid rain, and the Global Cooling of the 70s.

Once you accept that this stuff happens, Pb, there is no time to worry. The sun is gonna burn out in a few million years. Am I gonna worry about my ancesters overit and blame someone for the demise of my family name?

Its a money game, pure and simple.

Hey Guys:

Great discussion. Another thing worth mentioning here about the global warming crowd:

Many them are atheists. To them it's a religion, because the earth is their only home. To them there is no after life. As a result, they believe in the Great Mother, Earth.

Many of them are socialists, and there is no life liberty pursuit of hapiness or capitalism. To them it's all about the end of the world, pessimism, and hopelessness. So to them, the earth has to be dying, and becoming a burning ball of fire. The rich people are all to blame, and the big oil companies.

It's no coincidence that these kind of people promote GW, it is so obvious.

My wife just read this and laughed and called that the most stupid thing she has ever read.
She grew up in a Socialist Country and you obviously dont know what you are talking about..

I will not write the other things she said because I am not going to get into an arguement on this site.
