Country: | I'm not worried about the stocks Madonna has or whether Al Gore flies thats a non factor . Think what you want but your climate is changing and if I lived in Australia I would be very concerned ,

Country: | And the climate would be changing whether we were here or not. It is a natural process. My wife even saw a nice little lecture at the University on this other day. The Climatologist completely convinced my wife of it. He even showed evidence that CO2 and other emissions had nothing to do with it.

Country: | The protagonists of global warming are where most of the hot air comes from in the first place. I have seen groups like these before, just make stuff up to scare an uninformed public onto the side of a cause that favors that group's ideals. Preferably ...bring money). |

Country: | Pb Ok you think I should be concerned about Global warming effects in Australia. Ok then explain to me why at this moment Sydney NSW is having the coldest winter in 21 years Temperatures ranging from -6 to 4 degress celius. In Melbourne Victoria and most parts of Victoria it is snowing and across the Tasman in New Zealand massive flooding is occuring which has not taken place in over 10 years and was previously in drought. Flooding has occured in the Gippsland in Victoria which up until 4 months ago was drought stricken and the Hunter Valley in NSW was the same yet floods had taken place there. If that is Global Warming or the effects of supposive Global Warming. It would have to be the most unusual GLOBAL WARMING I have ever seen. But let me gets this straight. When you warm something you are not suppose to get it cold during the warming process. Maybe I am just an average Aussie who isn't suppose to question these so called Enviromentalist who are supposively more intelligent than myself. Pb I have one word for that BOLLOXS.
Well Pb my old mate. You have some one like Al Gore being the golden haired boy of the Enviromentalists and his Inconvient Truth and some one like Madonna who climbs on board the CO2 bandwagon and now you tell me to be less than impressed or not worry so much about the aforementioned. You have left me some what puzzled about that Pb. So who am I suppose to believe if not Al Gore or Madonna or any other enviromentalists who proclaims Global Warming

Country: | Didn't you know Emac, we can't question the intllectuals and enviorn-mentals about this. They know better and whats best for us. I can't wait for the day Al and Michael team up to drop from their Learjet leaflets made from unrecycled pulp telling us how to live "Green".

You mean Al G(B)ore and Michael Moore will become the Moore and Gore show hitting the payment bricks in Lear Jets to tell us how to live GREEN. I can hardly wait |

Country: | I'm going to be swimming against the tide on this one so I've got my battle bowler on and I'm in my slit trench.
I think we are polluting the crap out of the planet and if there is no change in how we look after the planet it wont be any of us that pay the price but our future generations.
Right I'm hunkered down you can open fire now.

Country: | Ok, Track here's how I see it.
Point one: We are polluting the planet. How bad or how destructive is ANYBODY's guess but we do play SOME part. I don't salivate and bow down when the Nabobs say we're evil for hurting Mother Earth.
Point Two: Remove humans from the equation and it would STILL be Global Warming, etc. Its called entropy. Its natural. Its inevitable. But the Nabobs don't want you to realize this and will keep you bombarded with "Its our fault". Its a smoke screen.
See, not too bad, I was using a paint ball gun!

I do agree with that. But I dont think it is the main cause of global warming.
