| The border towers along the Canada border are just symbolic in order not to offend the Mexicans to the south. They will not expand probably even 100 miles over there. The real towers are going up for 700 miles along the Mexico border. Keep up the good work House of Representatives!

| The whole point of that contract is to keep Boeing afloat between plum military aircraft contracts. It'll take the "bad guys" ,about a week to figure out how to defeat them, and it'll be "business as usual" , except for the law-abiding public.

Country: | The only thing that I enjoyed shooting more than that was my door gun from my Blackhawk.

I could assure you this has nothing to do with keeping Boeing a float, I think they are very solvent these days!!!

Country: | I think he is trying to say that Boeing is going broke so they took this contract. Boeing aint going broke though, they are a making billions based off of military sales right now.
The contract to build the towers though is 1800 not 900 and they are to be built along the Mexico border first. The contract that Boeing recieved is worth aprox. $2.5 Billion.

Country: | YEP!!! Boeing is far from going broke. Even loosing the JSF contract they are still involved with its production. As far as the commercial side, if Airbus keeps screwing up, Boeing will close in on them as well... Airlines, markets pummel Airbus on delays - Boston.com

| Do you have a better solution? If you do, could you present it here, so we can write our congressmen about it?
