During his meeting, the Liberal Federal Party started to think about imposing someone to censore the "worst" parts of the TV show "Tout le monde en parle" held on SRC on Sunday night at 8:00 PM.
I know, that show is a fascist show for pinkos separatists, but we're talking about freedom of speech here.
Provincial government (helped by the CRTC) started to censore conservative/federalist Radio DJs a while back. Why in the hell did the CRTC helped them ? It's a mystery.
Now, the Federal government wants to censore pinkos' shows.
Am I the only one here who is worrying about the "Sovieticalisation" of the society ?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but any Cuban-born human is considered as a "refugee" as soon as he land on American territory, right ? Wish it was the same way with Canadians... I would "jump over the fence" so quick that you would think hungry lions are running after me. |

Country: | Sorry man, I know you were only trying to make a point, but I tossed that pseudo-Canadian, commie **** flag. Some things I can't tolerate, and bastardizing our national symbols in that way is one of them. I comment about Jack Layton and the NDP being commies all the time, and the Liberals too to a lesser degree, but I won't sit here and watch my flag be purposely dissed like that.
It's just about respect. There's enough that get's taken for granted as it is. Let's not totally disgrace our national symbols too.
Although admittedly, I did find that flag with the cannabis leaf I saw once to be rather funny. |

Country: | I agree, NS. Dissing any nations flag is in bad form, even if it is your own.

Country: | Oh... As you wish, NS. I just finished althering the Province of Québec flag in order to also post it here, but I think I'll trash it then.
By the way, I didn't make that Canadian Comunist flag... I found it on Wikipedia, after a short search on Google. |

Provincial flags on the other hand...well...if you're comfortable with it, I'm comfortable with it. We slam each other all the time anyway, so what the hell.
As long as no one else complains about it, I'm all for it. Let the chaos commence!
You can even slam Nova Scotia if you want, I don't care. Be gentle. |

Anyway, I trashed it approximately 50 minutes ago and I'm too lazy to make an other one. |

Country: | That's too bad. I was actually starting to look forward to it.
The only other guy from Québec that I know of around here is Sunny, and I don't know if he'd be insulted or not. Oh well. |

Country: | Hey Maestro what does Tout le monde translate to. It is the title of a Megadeth song that I like but I do not know what it means. Quote: |

Country: | Alder, if I remember correctly "Tout le Monde" translates as "All the World". If I am wrong I'm sure I will be corrected though as my French is rusty.

Country: | Never wanted to learn French. I like the harsh languages like Russian (even though I dont remember anythign I tried to learn when I was a teenager) and German. I do not like the romantic prissy languages like French.

Country: | Well Alder, "Tout le monde" may be translated in two ways (depending on how it is used).
It can be translated as Gnomey said : "All the world".
But it could also be translated as : "Everyone". This is the most common way to use it.
Like in the case I was talking about, "Tout le monde en parle" would be translated as : "Everyone talk about it". |
