Country: | There's an old saying that you get the nomination for your party on the extremes and you run for the general election in the center. That being the case, it will probably be Hillary and Romney.
Hillary has almost equal like/dislike numbers (somewhere in the high 40s). She is a love/hate candidate. That is not a good thing for her. Romney is just the Republican with the least against him. Guliani is not the guy, too much baggage. No other Republican has the face time (as of yet). Thompson may've waited too long.
Then again, Bush came out of nowhere in 00 so there could be a dark horse on both sides that could sneak in and capture the nomination. For now, I think it will be Hillary and Romney. |

And the "Arkansas She-Devil" is definitely a love/hate candidate. I wonder how many women will vote for her only because she is a woman?

here, here...Erich, well all expect the toilet part. We have unfortunately, as a people lost a great deal of the initial concept that all the greatness that this country was founded upon. The idea that 'ignorance is bliss' was embraced by some and fed to others SO we would stay out of the equation. Its quite sad.
AND yes, Charles..that IS what I am saying. JUST to have a "woman" in office to what, appease us?? NOT Hillary. I can't even give her the vote in the 'lesser of the evils' catagory. Then again, I liked Wesley Clark. lol.

Wesley Clark rose to the level of Supreme Allied Commander for NATO before retiring from the military in 2000. Born in Chicago, he grew up in Arkansas where he currently lives. He is a former Rhodes Scholar and graduated first in his class at West Point in 1966.

After a while, that just weights a nominee down. Don't think there's been a President who was in the Senate since Johnson. Well, one that was elected to the office anyway. |
