Country: | As I said before. I don't question McCain's integrity. I question his conservatism. I have been known on occasions to feed money to special interest groups that support my beliefs and political agenda. McCain's overzealous efforts to minimize my ability, and ultimately the conservative movement's ability, to influence the Beltway yet leave a HUGE loophole for the liberals and their supportive mainstream media is a BIG no-no for me.
And as Ronaldus Maximus once said, you don't criticize your own party openly. I live by that rule with my family. I don't chew out my kids or get pissed at the wife in public. There is a time and place for that. In his drive to ethical nirvana, McCain tends to forget about that.
I'd vote for him. But reluctantly.

I'd vote for him. But reluctantly. | I kinda see it the same way. I nderstand what he was trying to do, take the lobbyist's money out of Government, but parts of the law are off-base.
I hope he has learned his lesson on the immigration, that would be the big one for me. I could live with MCcain-Feingold, but not McCain-Kennedy.
I just hope that it wont be Giuliani vs Democrat, Mr. Mayors illegal immigrant "sanctuary city", anti-gun, pro gay rights, pro-abortion, pro-adultery just offends me as a conservative. He should be in the democrat party. Sorry if this shocks anybody, just IMHO

Country: | Let's assume for the moment that McCain gets the 'Nomination' who do you think he will choose for his running mate for Vice-President? Who would make up a 'dream ticket'?
I have heard it said that the 'runner-ups' so far are not going to be acceptable to the evangelicals!?
Any comments?
How different would the past years have been, if McCain had been elected rather than Bush? |

Country: | There would be a Disneyworld in Iran?
Guiliani has baggage but if his trackrecord with NY is worth anything he might be ok. At least better than the DNP and that group.

After all the grandstanding about Clinton & the DNA on the blue dress, they should have higher standards. Look, I know some here have divorced & re-married, thats fine. But cheating, ditching your wife on TV & abandoning your kids earns no respect from me. Anyways his style of government is questioable too, "my way or the highway" is fine if you are right, but a President that can't take differing opinions or ideas is not going to work well. (IMHO)

Country: | Well, I said I didn't want to start a flaming war, so I drop it. I am not one to "need" the last word. Sorry if I offended anyone, but I am entitled to my opinion even though it got me broiled and basted. |

Country: | Hell, once you've seen Gore almost elected, you no longer disbelieve in the Tooth Fairy. Now that would have been an effing disaster.
