Country: | Ren, unfortuately you are 100% correct. That is an understanding of politics that not many understand. I, too, have been there and seen it first hand. But you never forget nor forgive your principals and you nibble at the system while playing along. I don't understand some of Bush's policies but there is a reason, somewhere. And its a game that both sides play, some better than others.

Country: | No, no, no! The world wouldn't want more like me!!
I think the key word -as with anything- is to be objective and then go from there.

At least I am very objective when it comes to Hillary.

Country: | Down to the final four.
This time next week we'll probably know who's goin' one on one for the big prize.
Got a feeling it's Hillary vs McCain (and I hope I'm wrong with regard to the She-Devil).

Country: | TO, I know how you feel about hillarita. Me too but I worry more about barackski. If you recall some of the lash ups the Clintons attempted, socialised medicine, homosexual deal in the military, I don't know how effective she would be working with congress in advancing her agenda plus she would have bill as a burden and advisor. On the other barackski certainly has some real skills as a speaker and might have the political know how she lacks. At first, I thought he was no threat but now he is beginning to worry me a lot. Fred Barnes( on Fox) for what it is worth thinks barackski will be a president at some point. |

Country: | ren,
You're right, B. Hussein Obama doesn't have much of a resume, and I would be awfully worried if he got to be CIC. That's what is so scary about this year's Dem candidates. If you combine the experience of the top three (now two) you come up with next to nothing. Ideology aside, the Republican candidates are far more qualified. But I'm hoping Obama wins his party's nomination; he'll be easier to beat than Hillary.
But down the road, Fred Barnes just might be right about B. Hussein.

Country: | Erich, I agree. Was talking to my brother in Texas today and while he is not totally happy with Bush, he said he might write him in at the election. He was kidding of course. But I predict that our next president is going to make one long for Bush, that is if one is not a left winger. |
