I am no fan of Don Imus at all and he showed poor judgment in his statement about the Duke WBBT but did you hear he is filing a law suit against CBS for something like wrongful termination of his contract. I hope he sticks it to them. They put him on because he says controversial things and gets good ratings and that is why they hired him and then political correctness raises it's head and public opinion dictates he is fired. CBS can't have it both ways. If you want to dance you have to pay the piper.

From what I've heard, he's got a good case. They specifically hired him to be contraversal and his boss had a kill switch which he could've used to bleep out what he said. I'm with ya' Renrich, no fan of Imus but I hope he sticks it "To da' man"!

I agree - I always thought he was an imbecile but to describe his comment of "nappy headed hoe" as racist is only from the "book of ghetto" and be construed as racist only in the eye of a leftist agitator. With that I do agree he should sue the pants off of CBS - they condoned his stupidity for years...

If you ever watched him, it was like watching an old drunk uncle during a family holiday. The Crypt Keeper mumbling to himself about inane subjects with sidekicks that were wiseasses. But I hope he sticks it to them.

Why would you want him to sue in the long run you are going to pay for it as your premiums are going to climb to compensate him . But the reply will be that its only a drop in the bucket. Lots of drips fill the bucket

You got it wrong - CBS is private - it doesn't affect anything except what the sponsors will have to pay to broadcast on that network.

Adler, the excuse is that the lyrics of hip-hop are entertainment and therefore...blah, blah, blah. You're right about the hypocrits. The issue that burns me is the almighty Reverand Al Sharpton demanding an apology.

Where is his apology for Twana Brawley?
Where is his apology for calling the Central Park rapist victim a whore?

The problem is, as a white person if you voice your opinion against this stuff you are labled as a rascist! Imagine what would happen if I started WET (White Entertainment TV)...

Did youall know that Barack Obama belongs to a church that espouses all sorts pro-black causes? I was listening to a report on the public utterances of this church and was wondering how a white church would be treated if they used the same language but in pro-white terms. Back to Don Imus-the day after the ruckus started about what he said, I heard Dennis Miller say,"Don Imus looks tired, he kind of looks like a werewolf who got half way through his transformation and was too tired to continue." I almost fell out of my chair laughing. Adler, I, like you, feel my blood pressure going up at the hipocrisy in our world especially with the likes of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson but mainly because of how the media kowtows to them.
