I don't have a problem with any Radical Muslim hating the west, the US or even me, but keep your hatred within the confines of your borders, believe me I have no desire to go to your land as a missionary, salesman, statesman or tourist. At the same time it is because of this situation where the west needs to embark on a major energy development program where petroleum fuels are no longer needed, thus ending the western dependence on Arab oil. At that point the only ones to visit the Muslim controlled Middle East are other Muslims and brave national geographic reporters!

First of all Hunter your argument about Iran is just plain dumb. You are entitled to your opinion and well that is fine, but I will tell you that you are wrong. Iran has no business in my opinion budding in Isreal and Palestines affairs. They have nothing to do with one another. Iran is just another Middle Eastern Country that wants to push its ideals on other people because the Islamic way is the only way according to them.

You say that the US wishes to push its ways onto others and until then we wont stop getting killed. YOU TELL THAT TO THE FAMILIES OF THE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD TRADE CENTER! Not all of the people in the towers were even US citizens. I wonder how you would feel if something like this happened in Canada, Hunter? I do not have a problem with anyone because of there religion or there ethnicity. Infact I think that we can all learn from different everyone no matter where they are from, the Middle East as well. However I do have a problem with Islamic extremists who hurt innocent women and children in the name of Allah and there Holy War because they believe that there beliefs are the only way. I personally feel the rest of the world needs to cut off all ties to the Middle East. Stop trade, stop diplomacy and let them see how much farther they can get. I doubt that the killings would stop because they hate everything western.


Now having said all this, I wish I had finished reading the thread before posting my first post here in this topic because it seems that somewhat of an understanding is starting to come between everyone here.

2)Argument? I never had one here, debating about how to best handle the problem yes but no argument, least not on my part.
3) you think there is any dealing with the middle east with reason, just fists well thats your opinion. Thats fine
4)I think any country who wants to support another country is fine (alittle thing called UN does that maybe you heard of them). I realize Iran is doing it for their own benefit but that is a different story.
5) Actually there was some Canadians I believe who died there. Number of them not sure, easy to find out if you want.

However to your last question. No I do not think it will work however I see no other solution to the problem. They started the fight and we must bring the fight to them and that we will do. I am not a fan of the Bush regime. I did not vote for Bush as a matter of fact but I will tell you one thing I do respect about him and support him on and that is the War on Terrorism. All other countries sit around and take the **** from these extremists, Bush took the fight to them and I stand by him on that.

I see no other way to handle this problem. You can not sit down and talk to extremists. They will not listen and they will not negotiate. They demand and demand and want and want. They will never give and therefore we can not give. We must fight them. We are not over there purposly killing civilians. Unfortunatly it happens. War is a nasty thing however that is not the purpose of our fight. We do not just go around and kill everyone as you seem to imply.
