Country: | Islamic Extremists in London Can our UK brethren comment on the following photos?
These were sent to me claiming to be pics from a recent demonstration in London. I can't vouch for the authenticity, but can tell you that we in the US did not get major coverage of this type of behavior. Can you enlighten us as to whether these Aholes are this blatant in their hate for you and all of western society, while enjoying its virtues?
[Note - In their ideal world they all would have been shot or beheaded right on the spot]

Country: | I can't imagine that is protected speech under British law... I honestly can't believe that the filth the westboro church in the US spews is considered protected either.

Country: | They had some similiar stuff happen in Berlin as well. The protesters did not have signs like in the above photos but a speaker at the demonstration said that someday an Islamic flag will fly over the capital.

| I saw a similar demonstration when I was in london 2 years ago.
Sadly, these pics are only the tip of the iceberg.
While I watching the demonstration in front of parliament, I started to laugh at them. I think I made them angry!

Country: | ughh, I'll never understand the Muslim mind. They preach hate and denounce the Western religions, but the second someone insults their religion they all go apes##t. I personally haven't seen this behavior firsthand, but if some ahole starts this crap while I'm around, he's getting my fist in his face.

Country: | Seems I'm the only "Empire" {commonwealth} resident to post so far, I wonder where is Plan D & the other Brits?
I'm not to get on an anti-immigrant rant or anything, but I think that it's been a mistake for the Western countries to hand out citizenship too quickly. I think that making a prospective immigrant wait for 6, 8 or 10 years to become a citizen would be more prudent. They could live and work in the country {with green card etc} but if they are found to have attitudes like these demonstrators then they are SHOWN THE DOOR.
Here's another thing, the US {and British, Canadian etc} test for citizenship involves knowlege of states, dead presidents & P.M.s etc. Instead I think it should be more about attitudes and try to fid out if the immigrant can co-exist with others in a free society.
Questions about "honor killings", "insult to islam" etc would be much more helpful in deciding whether to grant citizenship to someone. Does anyone else agree?

Problem is that many people believe in the concept of "global citizenship" and want as few barriers to immigration as possible.
