Country: | Don't waste your time, lads. He's obviously uneducated on many things from ancient history to the Falklands War. I won't waste my time. I think he's shown enough of his lack of knowledge.
It's a shame people like that exist, it really is.

What the f*ck is that?! We were discussing the "insignificant" contributions of the Commonwealth countries just a moment ago, so I couldn't give a rat's f*ck about how many years of Jewish history you've studied. Open a few more books now and then. |

Country: | There's not a damn thing wrong with studying Jewish history, but it's to be taken in context with everything else. |

Country: | I agree with you, what I was implying is that more things happened in this world other than the creation of the jewish state.

Country: | Well then he should not have changed the subject into things he does not know about then.

Country: | OMG! The commonwealth nations were just as important to the final victory as anyone else. There were no minor players in WWII. One man can often make a difference in battle, even though it's a team effort.
Let's take a look at one of your examples, South Africa:
Do you realize that there were 41 WWII aces from South Africa?! They accounted for 393 enemy aircraft kills.
We could take a look at some of the other commonwealth nations like Australia and Canada, who contributed even more, but I think you get my point.

Country: | Oh yes, there were more than Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. South Africa, India, and the list goes even further. Like I stated earlier, those three were just to name a few.
But it's not only about pilots, it's also about resources and production, not to mention the actual armed forces of some of those nations that contributed to Britain's aid. We helped each other. That's supposed to be the idea behind "Commonwealth". |

Country: | Yep. Nobody was a minor player, I don't care how small the units. They ALL contributed to the final victory. No job was unimportant either, you need pilots and infantry, but you also need supply guys and cooks. Those men in the field need ammo and they also need to eat.

Country: | Cor! That was a toe-curler. I don't think even RG managed to insult so many people in so few posts.
I'm just glad that I knew many educated and sensible Israelis at school to balance it out. |
