Country: | Well, first the history has been laid down. The only written 'history' of the Hebrew Kingdom in Palestine is in the bible - there's absolutely no other evidence of it ever existing. The fall of Jericho never happened because the time the bible states the walls fell, the place did not exist. This was all discovered by Israeli historians.
The Palestinians who blow up civilian targets are terrorists and deserve to die in the most brutal way possible but, I think it must be remembered that if Palestine wanted to fight a convetional war - it couldn't because it has a U.N Arms embargo on it.
The Israelis only received land and homes to inhabit during the 1947-1948 war - a conquest. All Palestinians were uprooted and thrown out of their nation because the Zionists wanted their own national identity and own nation. Palestine had been in existance for many centuries - but now it was crushed and uprooted by an Israeli invasion.
The Israeli 'Defence' Forces did put up successful defence of their gains, time and time again. During their first invasion though they secured the future of an Arab resistance. What we see to do is the result of the Israeli immigration invasion over the decades post-World War 1.
I do not like Israel, I do not like the Israeli people. They constantly state their plight, when in reality it's something of their own doing. They couldn't have expected anything worse than an Arab resistance to their occupation of their nation. Israel constantly sets up Jewish settlements in the already squeezed Palestinian land...it's conquest.
I don't care for the plight of either nation. I dispise Israel for what they were doing to British troops - what is happening in Iraq to U.S troops now was happening to the British troops in Palestine in 1945-1947. Jewish Zionist were shooting British troops...and it wasn't even a Jewish country, so that's not fighting for freedom - it's fighting for conquest. Now, it's worrying that the U.S citizens have a fixation on Israel - the only reason the U.S government has a fixation is because it's a possible base of operations and they're religious - just like the U.S.

Country: | Interesting thoughts and I respect your views on it.
I do agree with you that the Palestinian fighters are scum for killing innocent people but I do agree that the Isrealis are no better for it.
I hope this sparks up some good debating here.

Country: | is it political or religious. captured Jew Josephus wrote the Hebrew acct for the conquering Romans when they sacked jerusalem and the holy of holies. the destruction of masada is well written and known since thse old times. Been there and ran down that stupid insane wall of toil and blood ~ rock during a 115F degree day to the lowlands of the dead sea and jumped in only to float. man does that torn lake of many centuries stink with Israeli PT boats scouting back and forth along the shore from one end to the other. Incredible flower displays of those little tidbits trying to find a foot hold below sea level.....
Israel and Palestinians or whatever you would want to term them, actually Cretians really or southern Greeks since this is where they harbored from originally. there will never be peace till someone returns to clean it up |

Country: | I agree also. There will never be peace in that region until someone comes in and make peace for them and even then it is not garaunteed.

Country: | The time of the untied Kingdom of Hebrews is before the existance of the Roman civilisation. This is back in the Ancient Eygptian and Mesopotamian rule of the 'civilised' world.
The Jews there are from all over the place, since there was no national homeland of the Jew. They now use the bible as their 'proof' that what is Palestine is their 'Holy Land' - a load of bull in my opinion, as is all religion in my opinion - kicking the Palestinians out of it.
You had them coming from Russia, Poland, East Europe, North Africa, the Mid-East. There was actually a massive Jew population spread throughout the Mid-East without any problem. It was only when the Zionists wanted their own national identity that the whole "Mid-East Crisis" began...
They brought it on themselves and I don't have any sympathy for them. That conflict is vastly different from the anti-western sentiments of the rest of the Islamic world. Now most of them in Palestine use it as a stop off point...
Hit Israel, Hit America. America is too attached, it's a big problem for the world when the U.S starts using it's U.N veto to stop any kind of investigation into Israeli actions. By both killing women and children (which both do) neither nation earns my sympathy...and they both deserve to be blown to pieces.
In my opinion, both Israel and Palestine are harbouring terrorists. Only one uses Gunships - the other uses suicide bombers.
Let them fight and no one get involved. Meanwhile, let the 'insurgents' and 'Islamic extremists' draw themselves to fight their 'Holy War' in Iraq. You center them all in one place and you crush them all in one place.

| U repeated me almost word for word.... I freakin agree...
I think Syria should be the next place to start nosing around with UN Inspectors... I have it on some reliable information that "someone" found some nerve agents in a Syrian bunker, on the border of Iraq...
What I'd like to see is more of the Iraqi population joining up and fighting the insurgents and terrorists....

Country: | It is unfortunate for the Iraqi people that the 'holy war' is being fought on their soil but it has to be fought somewhere, and thankfully it's not on Western soil.
Syria certainly should be next - they aren't doing nearly enough to try and stop the foreign flow of insurgents into Iraq. They've got something or they're hiding someone...

Country: | I totally agree about Syria. Assad has been way too shifty. They are hiding something.

Country: | Yes, it should be named "Operation Blow the **** out of ****" - and it should actually involved blowing the **** out of...****...before sending the ground troops in.

Country: | I like it! The ground troops only have to go in to collect the bad **** and leave the rest for the rats.
