Country:  | Off duty we were not allowed to leave the camp. European soldiers were not allowed either (atleast not when I was there). They too were confined to the camps except for missions.
There was no place to go and party or do anything anyhow. The whole province was destroyed.
There were small shops set up outside of each camp where you could buy movies or small foods and what not. We were allowed to go to to those but that is because we were within sight of the gate.

Country:  | Milos it seems like we are coming down hard on the Serbian forces for some of the war crimes committed, but truth be told there are crimes on all sides. I heard on the news today that 3 Croatian generals have been convicted of war crimes.

Country: | Yes they are and they deserve it. I have friends from those parts of Croatia and they said exactly the same things that are in their prosecutions. Serbs were not the only monsters out there. Croats were proud of what they were doing and were proud to be Ustasha and you know who the Ustashas were?

The thing is Milos that Serbs, Bosnians, Albaniens and Croations are all in the same boat.
I am not saying that everyone is like that but the people of your region need to learn to get along and stop killing each other. It is really pathetic!

It's really odd. | Think of all the suppression of autonomy they've had. The individual nations have not ruled themselves much at all. My family left Croatia just before WWI. After the A-H's were out, they invented the state Yugoslavia, which kept dissidents in line by force. Now you have all the member nations picking up the pieces and dealing with hundreds and hundreds of years of foreign domination. Could you expect anything else?

You only see what others have done and are blind to your own faults.
It is true that Kosovo, Albania, Croatia, Bosnia, etc.. commited crimes against Serbia but Serbians commited crimes against Kosovo, Albania, Croatia, etc..
To deny such things is as wrong as denying the Holocaust.
Until everyone Kosovar and Serbian alike (including yourself) can open there eyes and stop the finger pointing there will never be peace in your region.
