I was just thinking of this this morning and its kinda funny -
What President is this?

1. He used sophisticated phone-tapping to gather information.
2. He was accused of knowing about a major surprise attack on Americans.
3. He detained numerous civilians under the color of war.
4. He attacked a country that didn't attack the United States.

FDR is still looked upon as a great President and War prez. And he was a dem. You do what you gotta do sometimes.

By the way, re "Bush has spent a lot of money" congress is the one who appropriates money, not the president. The budget deficit is steadily going down with tax revenues very high. Remember the Tax cut that Bush pushed through! Of course you won't hear about this from the mainstrem media and the Republican candidates are not talking about it either

I don't know. Today I think the media has been forced to report that the deficit has shrunk the past five years and its because of....Tax Cuts! In a sly way they're giving Bush some kudos.
