I think the ACLU is a bigger threat than Ms. Clinton. We have clubs, at
the beach, that have instigated "dress codes" to keep the "rap group"
out. Needless to say, they are being sued for discrimination.... because
most of the black people fall into the "not permitted" list.

Fast food joints are being sued because their food made some people fat.

There was a big fire in SC a few weeks ago, where firefighters were killed.
Some one is sueing (among others) the maker of the furniture that was
in the store. What's the maker of the furniture got to do with it ?

People want the free ride, and the bleeding heart judges & jurys will
give it to them.

They dont measure them in mm's but rather in cm's.

Yeah Charles, their 1 and 1A. Both are of the same mindset, philosophy. Throw in the far-left orgs (moveon, George Soros, much of the mainstrem media).

I'm worried. But I'm putting my hope on the traditional, clear-thinking, good folks of this country to make Hillary an afterthought (and a LOSER) in November 2008.

Charles, You make the statement that Bush has filled jobs in his administration with his cronies. If you were president would you prefer to fill jobs with people that you know all about or with people who were strangers? You say that Harriet Myers was unqualified for the job as a Supreme. May I ask you how you know that? Regardless of who is elected president, we are going to be in Iraq with a sizable number of troops for many years. If you have noted the statements by the dem candidates lately, surely you know that. I don't think it takes a genius to understand that if we leave Iraq "to let them fight it out" Iraq will be carved up by Iran or Syria or both and the most oil rich area of the world will be in very unstable hands. We are occupying right now a very good position in Iraq with the ability to have great influence on events in that part of the world.

39 inches, that's about 98 cm or 980 mm, or 0.98 metres or 0,00098 km, so hardly a kilometer

If I were the prez, I would have people who would advise me on those most
qualified to do a particular job. I would not grab some buddie I was in the
ANG with and give him a fat government post.

As for Harriette Miers, the entire congress said she was not qualified to
sit on the Supreme Court. That's good enough for me. Just a personal
friend and family lawyer that he was going to give a life-time position to.
I'm afraid, down the road, his last two choices (for the Supreme Court)
may hurt this country.

Charles

I got a big shot where I sit of bicillin... this should stem the infection,

rushing by a car window, and a hisssing of a leaking tire. And If I
get up, from a sitting position, I am immediately dizzy...... vertigo !

Thanks for your thoughts...... I'll probably live....

Now about that gal with the big chest.........

With the example we have today of the senate leaders trying to pass a resolution condemning Limbaugh for saying something he did not say, I am afraid that their judgment about any of Bush's nominees is in serious question. Time will tell about the two latest Supremes but in my view this country will benefit from their appontments.
