Country: | Cruel awakening on terrorism? Of course because the whole IRA thing was a lie.

Country: | Never would I take anything away from what New York had to endure on that terrible day, but 'a cruel awakening?'
I'm sure you mean no offence, but it comes over as seriously naive. |

Country: | I'm sure GT didn't mean it like that guys, I wont be forgetting 9-11. Personally I think the US has shown amazing restraint I can think of a few powers who would have knock seven bells of **** out of any country even suspected of harboring terrorists that had perpetrated such an act in their own lands.
Its a long and very relentless task to locate these nutters and the world is a big ass place to hide in but I believe the might of economic and Political power that the USA can bring to bear on the countries that shield these guys is going to be as effective as any army.
I agree with GT it needs to be drummed into people the reason for this current operation against the terrorists. In the past an event like 9-11 would stay in the for front for years but nowadays its all five minute news and the demarcation between reality and fiction on TV has to many become blurred so yes lets remember the guys and girls of 9-11. and keep the pressure on the politicians to run these terrorist ****-bags to ground and give them a slapping that the world will never forget.
