Where the heck is a good earthquake when you need one

They're the strong and the proud, but the Marines aren't free to stand on the streets of San Francisco.
The Silent Drill Platoon of the U.S. Marine Corps wasn't allowed to be filmed Sept. 11 on California Street in San Francisco for a segment of its new advertising campaign, a Marine spokesman told FOXNews.com.
Instead, the elite group took its austere display to the Golden Gate National Recreation Area for the final segment of its "America's Marines" TV commercial. The group is on a two-month nationwide tour as part of the campaign.
Stefanie Coyote, the executive director of the San Francisco Film Commission, the group that denied the permit, was unavailable for comment Tuesday. Her office referred calls to San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom's press office, which did not immediately return a request for comment.
Coyote told KGO-TV that "traffic control was the issue."
The film commission did allow the Marines' production unit to film the street without Marines. They'll be superimposed in the spot, KGO-TV reports.
Meanwhile, the Silent Drill Platoon continued its campaign, filming a portion of the commercial Monday in New York's Times Square during the early morning rush hour. San Francisco can't fall into the ocean soon enough

Country: | I'm not a bit surprised. They wouldn't want anyone with balls showing up in that sissy-mary town. Sheesh, liberal pussies.

Country: | There is a reason it's called Bezerkley. If we cut the state in half, they could keep the Northern section.

Country: | Bloody Hell that wouldn't do here in Australia. There would be a bloody revolution if the so called peaceniks ever had ANZAC Day banned. No bloody peacenik would come out of the woodwork official or otherwise to proclaim that ANZAC Day was banned. Good help them if they ever tried that on with Australian Military being barred from the March Pass either. And I for one would lead the bloody charge to find the Mother ****ers who would ban our Men and Women in the Defence Forces from Marching on our Streets here in Australia. Bloody oath it would be hunting season on ****wits for a month or more.
And Last year on ANZAC Day the Gunners lead the parade. Some dim wits proclaimed it threatening to have artillery pieces in the march pass and sent the wrong message to our enemies. Until it was pointed out to them with the Artillery Gunners that the guns were the Standards of the Battery. And that I could not get over. We are not suppose to send a terrorist group like Alqaeda the wrong message. What bloody message are we suppose to send. Stupid bloody left winged nit wits all mouth no ****ing brains
