There is nothing wussy about a society that forces you to wear gloves and goggles while playing conkers. Oh wait...

(Conkers: the British game of tying oak seeds to a string and smashing them together. Why do we do it? Nobody knows.)

They tried using coconuts but the string kept breaking. But mad dogs and Englishmen out in the midday sun and before the hand over of Hong Kong to the Chinese government they the English fired the mid day gun in Hong Kong Harbour for years. what that has to do with conkers I have no idea. Just thought I would say it
