Christ almighty, evan, the U.S might be as barbaric to hang people from places but we're just much more civilised. | Oh yeah, I forgot, we're just the naked savages! Hey now, I am wearing clothes.
Seriously, the problem with our free societies is that we are very open. That also is a weakness. Then throw in a few bleeding hearts and you have real trouble.
I am not advocating locking up all Muslims like we did to the Japanese because 1. it didn't really do anything to make us safer and 2. it is going to piss off people that have done nothing. We need a swift and severe response to things like this. If necessary, it needs to be publicized as much as possible to serve as a deterrent. Most children are good because they understand the consequences of being bad. Sometimes they need a little reminder of what the consequences are with a timeout, spanking, etc. Obviously, the more severe the infraction, the more severe the response.

Country: | Yep, I heard about it. Interesting development. I am curious what, if anything he had on him when they took him out.

Country: | We've been informed he was part of the plot but I don't know if he had anything on him. He ran from the police onto the Subway train and was wearing a large coat (odd for this time of year) - so I don't blame the police for putting him down.
I say, "Good on 'em!"

You can't give people like that jail time - they'll just do it when they get out. They should be killed! | Its just the same way over here. We have left winged lawyers (by the way AMERICAN lawyers!) that are protecting Saddam Hussein!!!!! We shouldhave a war crime trial and stop keeping him on death parol and then set him up for death, torture the *******, and show his execution on public Television!! Of course if this happens Katie Curic and all those freakin ******* news like CNN wont show it. They'll probably show some earthquake or terroist holiday.....
