Country: | Thanks guys. I have never recieved such influence from other people besides my family. People at school just never really cared. Wow, you came close to death alot of times Alder, I just know that one day we are going to have to start preparing and we may need more men to fight.
If there is another major war to happen, i dont think America will be ready. We are going to have so many protestors and deserters that only those who step up are going to have to go over there, get their legs blown off and return back to a bunch of protestors who are going to belittle him and call him a babykiller. Alder, did you guys have a problem with the media when you were over there? I noticed that the media tries to belittle the Military.
And like you said Alder about playing war and stuff, i do the same thing too. Whenever we go outside i always get a pipe and pretend that its a small artillery piece like a 37mm and i stick bottle rockets and fire crackers in the back of it and fire it at my foxhole that I dug in the woods pretending it is a enemy machine gun nest. But you guys are right I want to go to colledge get an education and have a great life.
But im still going to join ROTC and gain some leadership skills, do military training, do reanactments, and get into uniform.

Country: | I think that playing with firecrackers as mortars and playing soldier is something that has not changed through the years. I remember doing that as well.
What happens with a big war will depend alot on how it starts. After 9/11, there were a lot of guys going down to the recruiters. People stood behind the war in Afghanistan. Iraq has been a divisive issue in this country and unfortunately, the press have had a field day with it. It's a no win political situation also. If they found a big cache of WMD tomorrow buried in Bagdad, the press would either complain it took too long to find. Either that or they would claim that we planted it there.
Hell, even veterans groups are divided on this Iraq situation. I had no doubt we would go in there and have a quick and decisive victory. I was concerned what would happen after that and unfortunately, those concerns have been realized.
Who knows what is next. But if it becomes WWIII, well, we are unprepared. We were for WWI and WWII. But when push comes to shove, if we are attacked, Americans can come together for a common goal against a common enemy.

Country: | And Britain will always be there alongside America because let's face it. U.S and U.K are the best f*cking alliance in history. No matter what the few pricks from Britain say about America, and no matter what the few pricks say about Britain...we're the best alliance and any dick who thinks they can crack either one of us must be the biggest f*cking ******* in history.

Country: | I still have difficulties with some of the things I witnessed/did... I always will.... The mass grave thing CHANGES you... Anyone who has seen it will admit it... You are never ever the same person again... Some people deal with it better than others...
How any people can devalue the cost of a human life to the point of insignifigence is just mindboggling to me... Same thing in Somolia... Your life was worth the cost of the shoes on ur feet...

Country: | United we stand, United we will fight! You are right Plan_D, the prick who tries to divide the United States's alliance with United Kingdom or vice-versa is the day we grow palms on our hands!

Country: | That was likely the stun grenades they used to make some new arrests. They got 2 more of the second group in London this morning. Looks like the fourth suspect at large has been apprehended in Rome.

Country: | We haven't had the death penalty for 35 years. By old law we could hang them for treason but they won't get charged on that. They'll be given a nice home, new ID and government money. Why do you think there's so much scum in Britain?
