I agree with your post - nice parallel w/ the accessory gearbox, I like that! That's what I've been saying, where to draw the line. It's not just w/ healthcare, it is about pensions (our social security), gov't attempting to guarantee max employment, nationalizing industries, welfare.

Capitalism, as I said before, flat out puts the onus on the individual. Consider this: new study estimates 40 percent american babies born to unwed couples... another example of individual irresponsibility. The cost of this to the US taxpayer is enormous - who do you think picks up the tab for daycare so the single mom can work... Responsibility has shifted from the backs of the people to gov't... the burden needs to be on the people.
