| The New Election, the World Situation, and the Result Hello Folks:
There are many things going on in the world now; a new election, a lame duck president, 2008 Presidential candidates, and the consequences. We now practically have Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House.
According to the Canadian Free Press, Pelosi wants to hand the US over to the UN. What will be the consequences of this? Banning private ownership of firearms and creation of a welfare state?
McCain and Giuliani want to run for President on the Republicrat ticket.--We just purged the turncoat liberal Republicans in the last election, and now they want to run for president--Keep in mind Giuliani wants gun control, and McCain wants Amnesty.(He also pretends to be a true conservative.)
In fact, McCain has changed his position several times. Several years ago he was a conservative, and then only a few months ago he supported Amnesty and porkbarrel spending. Now he's back to supporting conservatism. Can we trust someone like this?
Bush, in a last ditch effort is trying to get Vietnam and Russia into the WTO. Bush, as we all know, wants one nation not the U.S., but "The Americas". One nation from the tip of south America to the tip of Alaska. Bush has also spent more billions of dollars than Clinton did, and he calls himself a conservative.
How can our country stay strong w/ such dire choices for our leadership? What can the future hold for us w/ such leaders? What do you think?

The leftist elements can only go so far as not to antagonize the senatirs from the more conservative states. Plus many new congressman are from conservative districts that have no tolerance for any leftist policies. Quote: |

| Not even nancy wants that, or could even impliment it. Quote: |

| Both their stances on immigration will ensure neither gets the nomination. Look for a lesser known candidate to win. Quote: |

| Nothing wrong with bringing those two countries into the WTO. Bush is a globalist and has zero interest in middle America. This election was a referendum on his policies. Quote: |

| The US always has the luck to get the right guy in office at the right time. There have been far worse periods in time for us, and this is nothing.

Country: | your last sentance Sys is very true and we have to live by it and get along as best as we can no matter who gets elected in the coming years. Just protect yourselves with knowledge and be very careful with the US media which has the all dual purpose of warping US mindsets. personally my contacts in the mid-east keep me quite informed on what is happening for and aft so I rarely listen up on "what is there" via news from the Tele'
I will find it interesting to see how much power the Demo's can possess by the time Bush boy leaves
trust politicians ? Yuk |

Yes, it's good not to trust any politician, unless they are always doing the right thing.

Unlikely, any liberal you bring in is guaranteed to raise taxes, and spend billions of your dollars.
As for sources, that's why people provide them, so you can check them. Do you want me to look them up for you too?

Country: | don't bother looking for sources I'm just saying whomever won the election deserves the chance to try and do the best they can as mandated by the majority of your peers in two years you have the opportunity to change

Country: | I've been through many changes in government and we still manage to survive. Like most countries, the US is a massive bureaucracy. You could gas the judicial, executive, and legislative branches and we would not feel the impact for five years or more, and then things would probably get better. I also think you will find that the democrats will fade back from many of there statements when they realize they are now responsible. Except of course the pursuit of investigating the executive branch to continue to discredit Bush (like the Republicans did to Clinton). I personally think that the Democrats tried to move to the center to win but they have a politically violent left wing that will continue to make all the democrats look radical. Sometimes we need to elect liberals just to show why we really don't want that kind of government. |

| No mans life, liberty or honor is safe when congress is in session.
Sometimes, the less they do, the better it is.
