Gott, sometimes it makes ya wonder if these guys ever paid attention to the saying "those who forget history are doomed to repeat it." Personally, I would not like a WW3, so lets just solve the problem now... Send in the US special forces in joint operation with the SAS and the Israeli special forces, and tell 'em that the whole stinkin government is expendable (could be wrong, maybe there are some good people, but I REALLY doubt it). This is not to say that I hate Iran, or the common people. I just HATE their government for going back to Nazi-like-thinking. |

Country: | its just really sad, Iran would make a lousy wannabe Fascist state...or country...whatever...but even if the law was enacted, Israel really shouldnt do anything as a follower of the teachings of judaism i know that if Israel got into a big conflict with one of its neighbours(though highly capable of whooping Iranian hiney) the other Arab nations looking for a fight would use it to fuel future terroristic aggression that would target innocent civillians. all ya can do is ride it out and use agrression as a last resort

During his attempt to rise to power the Reichstag was burnt down (mostly) in 1933, Hitler blamed the commies, a perfect excuse to get rid of a group of which he dissapproves and even sees as a threat, calling them terrorists and a whole host of other colourful titles, he wanted to do it anyway, this gave gave him the excuse needed
around 70 years later, the twin towers are struck, the US use this as a reason for going after the terrorists, now they pretty much controll Iraq and are responsible for the "liberation" of Afganistan, but they don't want to stop there, they're now setting their sights on getting rid of other groups of which they dissaprove, i suggest you guys look a little closer to home for comparisons........

Or maybe the girl he's been thinking about is a member of the Al-Queda, and is brainwashing him into thinking everything America does is inspired by the events in Nazi Germany.
9/11 caused America to fight back against the terrorist organisation Al-Queda. Afghanistan, with it's Taliban leadership, would not take action against the well known terrorist organisation. So, the U.S rid Afghanistan of the Taliban dictatorship and took the fight to the terrorists.
Then Iraq started causing trouble by not allowing UN inspectors in certain areas of the country. Hussein was already a war criminal anyway, and was kicking up a fuss. The U.S reacted, and took the dictatorship down.
Now Iran are threatening the U.S and her allies directly. The U.S or her allies will react, and rightly so.
The only similarity to now and World War II, is Pearl Harbor. We all know the U.S wanted to force conflict onto these nations for a long time because they were and are a threat to world peace. And have no right to be in a medieval fashion by a dictator, like they are. But the people of America did not want war. 9/11 changed the public view, just like Pearl Harbor did which allowed the U.S to let loose and rid the world of these scumbags.

Sorry, cant have it both ways.
The similarities between the days leading up to Pearl Harbor and the days leading up to 9-11 are unbelievable.
I also dare anyone who suggests there are similarities between Nazi Germany in the 30's and to the Bush admin, to start naming them and explain why.
