Why don't we stop beating around the bush. That post is so full of hints and innuendo it would make Joan Rivers cry. Explain yourself, for Christ's sake man. Do you feel that the United States is no better than the Third Reich? Would you be so bold as to come right out and say that you think the US is bent on world domination and that George W. is no better than Hitler? Do you think the American people are just sheep?
Just say what you mean, it ain't that difficult. |

Country: | We need to turn Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on his stomach, face down, shove a funnel up his arse and pour down the funnel about 1000 anger fire ants, then shove a cork in his arse so they can't get out.
See if that shuts him up.

Country: | Furthermore, it took 9/11 to get the U.S. public to "let loose," as pD puts it, but 9/11 was not the first terrorist attack or action aimed at the U.S. that could be linked to Al Queda and/or the Taliban. 9/11 gave the U.S. a reason to go after terrorists, because it was terrorists who perpetrated the act. We weren't looking for a scapegoat like Hitler was with the communists. The terrorists were guilty. We're also not looking to take out other groups of which we disapprove; all of the groups that we have targeted, including the Iranian government, can very easily be called terrorist groups. Oh, and by the way, lanc, you're welcome for the U.S. taking the majority of the responsibility and action in making this world a little bit safer for you over there in the U.K. You can thank the U.S. soldiers who died for a damn good cause for their "Nazi-like actions."

Country: | Lanc I hope we just all misunderstood you for that, but what I understood out of it was pretty ignorant. I guess if Bush is running a country like the 3rd Reich then I must be a Nazi soldier too since I served in Iraq. Lets face it Lanc if we were not fighting those people over there in the mideast then they would be doing more terror than they are now. Is the world any safer now? No it is not but atleast we are doing something about it now and making a stand.
I know you have a problem with the US by the way you talk about the US in other threads and that is fine because you are entitled to your opinion. I dont not have anything to say bad about you because of your opinion either. I happen to like you and think you are an all right guy, but I have one note to say:
Do not compare the US to the 3rd Reich, if you are going to do so then you better compare your beloved England to Mussolini and the Italians of WW2 as well because you have supported the US aka the 4th Reich as you basically called it since WW2 and been to the Middle East with us now twice. If I recall you goverment has stood side by side with Bush from the Beginning.

IRAN: NO CLOTHING ID PLOT
Iranian politicians reject Canadian claims (repeated in Australia) that new laws would require Iranian Jews to wear “a yellow strip of cloth on the front of their clothes”:
In Tehran, legislator Emad Afroogh, who sponsored the bill and chairs the parliament’s cultural committee, told The Associated Press on Friday there was no truth to the Canadian newspaper report.
"It’s a sheer lie. The rumors about this are worthless,” he said.
Afroogh said the bill seeks only to make women dress more conservatively and avoid Western fashions ... Iranian Jewish lawmaker Morris Motamed told the AP: “Such a plan has never been proposed or discussed in parliament. Such news, which appeared abroad, is an insult to religious minorities here."
At Iran’s mission to the United Nations, a diplomat, speaking anonymously because he was not allowed to make official statements, called the report “completely false."
Seems so. This story should be widely stomped, lest it grow into a right-wing version of the Plastic Turkey fable.
UPDATE. More from Canada’s National Post, which published the original claims:
Several experts are casting doubt on reports that Iran had passed a law requiring the country’s Jews and other religious minorities to wear coloured badges identifying them as non-Muslims ...
Sam Kermanian, of the U.S.-based Iranian-American Jewish Federation, said in an interview from Los Angeles that he had contacted members of the Jewish community in Iran — including the lone Jewish member of the Iranian parliament — and they denied any such measure was in place.
Mr. Kermanian said the subject of “what to do with religious minorities” came up during debates leading up to the passing of the dress code law.
“It is possible that some ideas might have been thrown around,” he said. “But to the best of my knowledge the final version of the law does not demand any identifying marks by the religious minority groups.”

Country: | I find that hard to believe but if it was a hoax that is a real good thing.

Country: | nice cover up kiwi. yes it will happen sooner than later, maybe like in Biblical times when the Persians invade and hauled away the Israelites with ring and their noses and then chained to each other herded away like live stock, in which they were to build beautiful palaces for a regime that fell flat . . . . .
as to lanc why bother with your quite foolish notion(s). who have you been talking with I wonder, more than your folks I presume. As you have been quite blatant enough with two strong comments would you please back that up with explicable proof ??? . . . and another point which you will not like, I'd like to see you at the front firing off a few rounds and then receiveing return fire and see for yourself what you would think of that, especially when you see a couple of your buddies with holes in their foreheads. the 9/11 escapade goes very deep for some of us "Yankees", and in started ful tilt with the Clinton administration who would rather pay others off and look the other way. you in your youth sound quite familiar to me like the ones back home when we were bleeding in Nam, pussies . . . .
sorry man but the terror is here in your country, all of Europe, mide-east and in my home country/state. Instead of putting the balme on our pres and government lets fight this with all our being and try and put an end to it which will be ny impossible
the Iranian thug is tempting us/Israel to react so he can have all of Islam backing him all the way for a "holy war" against us the infidels
time to tear up the pavement . . . . . . . |

| i never meant to compare the two or say that america is a Nazi state, or that the war on Iraq is wrong, furthermore i didn't mean to stir such ill-feeling, i was simply pointing out what i saw to be an irony, that being that yanks were slamming Iran for doing something the Nazis did, when i cannot help but see a similarity between the Reichstag/twin towers incident, can no one else see even a slight similarity?

| Lanc, there is absolutley no comparison between the 9-11 events and the Reichstag fire. None.
I would be happy to see any evidence you have for this., so we can educate you on what really happened.
I hope you dont get your news from conspiricy web sites.
