Country: | I think they took this a bit too far. He's scary alright but I just feel that was a bit too much.

Country: | While I don't love the cover, I think some of the Caricatures of W have been far worse. But when Obama gets the same treatment, the Dems cry foul. They're always pulling this double standard crap.
Their guys are always saints, everyone else is the devil. Jeez! |

Country: | It's a liberal publication that has satirical overtones - it was meant to show how the US right wing views the Obamas - it's no worse than some of the political cartoons I seen that shows Bush in a Nazi uniform.

cry foul.

Country: | It's funny how some think that the cover represents that the New Yorker is taking a shot at B. Hussein, when in fact, as Joe said, they are trying to make a point about some conservative and/or far right views about the dem candidate.
And now the Hussein campaign is upset with a publication that supports them.

Country: | with the fact that the New Yorker is what it is, am very surprised they did do up the cover as they did
very comical possibly with hidden, and serious undertones shall we say ??

Country: | From everything I've read and heard from the left, right and middle, it sounds like the New Yorker cover will hurt B.Hussein.
Images have always been much more powerful, and more remembered, than words.
I can only hope this damages Obama, the more the better.

Country: | Those liberal numbnuts are clamouring all over themselves trying to explain their satire gone wrong. Now the major news media outlets are backpedaling saying they need to show Rush Limbaugh painting the picture then the humour would not have been lost on the majority. I thought it was funny. Its a cartoon for Godsake.

Country: | The newsmedia {Right wing included} have been yapping about this & Jesse Jackson, another non-event.
God forbid that they should have some real issues of substance to debate!
