The Obama legal team failed to produce the vault copy last week by the deadline imposed by the Esatern District judge - it will be appealed of course but it won't go away.

"In August, a Pennsylvania lawyer, Philip Berg, filed suit in federal court in Philadelphia. Berg, who also has been active in arguing that there was "government complicity" in the attack on the World Trade Center [emphasis added], demanded that the court force Obama to produce his original birth certificate. The court dismissed the lawsuit [see below].

So why isn't this getting wide coverage? Well, first, there's lots of evidence that Obama was born in the United States, and none that he wasn't. The campaign handed over an official copy of his short-form birth certificate — the standard document produced by the Hawaii Department of Health — to Factcheck.org [emphasis added]. And Politico has confirmed the authenticity of a contemporaneous announcement of his birth in the Honolulu Advertiser.

Berg fights on, though, on a website with supporters known as ChileMan, ChileWoman and MommaERadioRebels. He recently told conservative talk radio host Michael Savage that he has an audiotape of Obama's Kenyan grandmother recalling the candidate's birth in a Kenyan hospital.

This suit will go the way of the challenge of Bush and Cheney both being from the same state (Texas) and both being on the same Presidential/Vice-Presidential ticket (in 2000), which is unconstitutional. That case was thrown out. As of 0ct. 24, the federal judge in Philadelphia threw out the case, arguing that Philip Berg didn't have standing. Berg is appealing the decision, of course. The appeal process may be ended by the time President Obama has completed his first year in office.

I agree. I was intrigued by this story at first, but the lack of info, and the lack of media attention from everyone has led me to believe this is at most, a technicality, maybe lost paperwork or something. Don't believe much is going to be made of it.

Exactly, Flyboyj. That's why I emphasized that 9/11 lunacy in my post. He's either a publicity hound or a nut, or both. In either case not somebody to be taken seriously. As a matter of fact, I've already written about him more than he deserves. Maybe if we just ignore him, he'll go away.

The action of the DNC, the birth certificate not being produced for court, the state of Hawaii sealing his records, the universities he attended sealing their records.....

This all is fodder for the Conspiracy nuts to run away with...or is it???

Also the news networks not carrying it??? Fox did one run on the PA trail. Remember no one was carrying the Senator Edwards story until the turd floated to the surface and couldn't be covered up.

About us ignoring the constitution, if we can this time what other areas can we ignore later....lots of people died for that document!!!!!

The implications are enormous...the DNC was complicit in any illegal act against the country for starters...Hilary really should have been the candidate but Mi and Fla only count as half votes.

However, that all said I wish him well and hope he is legal..would have voted for Powell hands down to anyone!!

Also December 5th is the next hearing in NJ by someone of standing to plead the case....holding breath......turning blue.....
