The kid in the last clip did not help the cause and would of been better putting on the 1000 yard stare and saying "no comment.
They did make it seem like the soldiers mind has become a bit exuberant from all the violence.
Maybe he wasn't even involved in the incident at all. If so, it would be a mean lie to put him in there right after the shooting. But even if he was involved in it, war often gives men a killer mentality to survive. He may have to kill insurgents again the next week, or the next few months so he might as well be willing.
It does seem unfair to the soldiers being charged before evidence. Here's one bloggers opinion about it.
